Absolutely delighted he's chosen to stay as we all know he'd of had a lot of options and how tempting the NRL must have been. Shows he has a lot of faith in Anderson and the direction the club is going in.

Brilliant news. Genuine threat every game. I'd like to see him as captain and let brough focus on his rugby.

I think these recent announcements are a real sign of intent from Ken. I did fear he might sort of give up after this season but he seems to be ploughing on with this long build to a big trophy. I would actually prefer to see some of the young lads tied up now, like Leeming. To show this is a long term thing.

So he wasnt out of contract but had a clause this year where he could leave for the NRL so the club have made the move to give him an improved contract after there was some interest shown from the NRL.. played well since he has come back from his injury, long may it continue.

Good to see some loyalty shown from a player unlike mullally but he has previous when widnes put alot into his development and left for us.

And Anderson out? ferres may very well not have signed if anderson was on his way out as they are best buddies

i dont think anyone can questions ken davys commitment to the club and him still striving to bring success.

hell if he was to give up after this season he would have given up a long long time ago!

Very good news. Very good player. He's shows his class on his day.
Probably does more for the club behind the scenes than most of us know.
Great role model to keep on board for our younger players coming through too.
Hopefully we can win something to minus any doubt he may have had about exploring new challenges.

I was in no way questioning his commitment, I just thought he might sort of let the current position slip because it wasn't financially viable. However I feel more and more that Davy won't rest until we win a major trophy.

Credit to both KD for his continuing commitment to the club " It has never seemed to waiver " Also to BF, the temptation to try his hand in the NRL must have been very appealing, I also would like to see him as Captain .

Great news regarding Ferres re signing with you guys as he's definitely a player that i regret leaving our club after we gave him his SL debut,he is one of the best wide running backrowers in SL without a doubt

Well since last season we have lost

Lunt, Faimu, Kaufusi, Patrick,Chan with Mullally already confirmed as leaving at the end of the season.
In have come Huby, Ellis and Hughes with Rapira added for next season.

So in effect numbers are down by two from 2014 season but not sure how the salaries will have been effected as Rapira will not be on the cheap.

two of those improved deals, have to go with a smaller squad now to keep hold of our top end players and bring youngsters through

That's the magic formula, with more regular first team players coming through our academy we should be able to keep youngsters coming through with a couple of extra signings from outside

Ferres picked up another knee injury ... hope its not too bad, but looks like he will miss the next 2/3 games... really important games too where we need our best players on the field
