Unfortunate as ferres is undoubtedly one of our most consistent performers! Watched the highlights on bbc and it looked as bad as it sounds! Two men on Brett who is standing on one leg at the time chase throws his body into it! Not from the back which would allow it to bend and collapse but from the side! Shocking tackle and deserves to be made a statement of it as it wasn't a reaction thing chase ran around the tackle area to get the leg!
One leg with the weight of Brett and two tacklers suddenly being hit isn't a good thing!

No they didn't, not according to the disciplinary panel. Only Joe Wardle charged with throwing Cockayne during our game.

I cannot comment on this incident as I genuinely have no idea what you are talking about, plus Eorl is lacking nastiness and mongrel to commit an offence like that, maybe a weak point of his is that he is too nice!!
But I would be very surprised if "They got away with it" as the disciplinary panel do review the whole game now and would certainly pay particular attention to instances where a penalty occurred. That is factual as I have 2 good friends who are on the disciplinary committee.
If Green is injured then I hope he has a speedy recovery.

Eorl was penalised for lifting the leg, it wasn't a cannonball tackle at all, if it's the one i'm thinking of about 55 minutes just over halfway?
