Today's just another game! I hope we play well and improve on our rubbish performances. The fact the Bulls could be relegated doesn't mean a thing.

Going into administration, and losing more games throughout the season is the cause of their relegation.

I'm going to predict a rubbish showing, and a win in the last quarter with a couple of trys.

after working in bradford in our early super league years i would just love it if we relegate the bull!!!the abuse and mocking we had to take from their fans was bad...what goes around comes around....come on fartown and do me proud

a lot of this anti bulls stuff comes from the people who,for years had to put up with bulls fans ( mostly the ones from huddersfield) lording it over us fartowners. putting us down at every opportunity, gloating, being abusive about everything to do with our club and generally just been ar$es!
i do feel sorry for the genuine bulls fans who were there before 'bullmania' but all those years of them being successful and the crap we put up with, well today ends all that.

but yes first and foremost i want us to win for our sake, it's just an added bonus that we can erase all those years of hurt

i do hope in a couple of years that northern come back up.if i was still watching fartown i would rather watch us play local derbies v them than say against catalan,london etc
and leeds v northern is always a big sl game..the game needs the big teams in super league, but let them rot for a couple of years first

Aye like you say, not all the fans were like that. All clubs have these fans. How many took the pee out of Wakefield when we won them every season.

Times have changed but they changed years ago.

You dislike some of there fans from past times of mocking etc. It'll be a bad day for our club and our fans reputation if in the aftermath of the game things are said which should be left unsaid.

i will gloat for a while, but like meast said...the older northern fans werent too bad and the bullmania newbies seem to have died down, 2 years in the wilderness will be enough , i am as much a rl fan as hudds fan and the game needs teams like bradford to do well so the game gets good crowds

Not to mention advertising the Bulls games on the rear of Huddersfield buses, selling their own raffle tickets outside our ground on matchdays etc. But even so, I won't celebrate them going down should we win today.
I know plenty of good Bulls supporters, and I know how gutted we were when we went down, eventually, and it's not a nice feeling at all. I Also remember we were at home and the away fans celebrating our drop did little to endear me to their club.
To any Bulls fans reading this. I hope when you do go down it turns out to be for the best, just like it was for us, and you come back stronger. But not too strong of course. All the best. Raaaay.

Went to last game of season. We won at home to London but so did Wakey.

we also won the week before, last team to beat us was hull ..30-36

As a Bullmania Bulls fan (first game as a 9 year old in 1997) I had no idea of this friction until the other season, and to be honest that doesn't fit with me - I've been to Huddersfield many a time when Bulls games don't clash (although I can't make it today, long story). But to me this "what goes around, comes around" is a very strange stance to take. By rights, those preaching this proverb must be prepared to be gloated at themselves if the Giants had a poor season, somehow I doubt it though.

We ought to sign Luke Gale no matter what the cost, he would form a great half back pairing with Danny Brough,two play makers and good kickers

The problem with Gale is 75% of the time he's playing behind a beaten pack. Today he showed glimpses of what he can do. He's blown hot and cold ever since he stepped in the door at Odsal.

Can do better than Gale. Thought he was very average today and have never been too impressed.

im afraid the failings in our team are there for all to see still though.

just not doing the basics and not working as a team, shame as there is some really hard running from certain players such as mcgillvary, taai, mullally ..just gets undone by silly mistakes and defence being poor.

Gives me no pleasure at all to be the team to relegate the Bulls.

However, that can also be said about our performances at the moment. The players should be embarrassed by the first half performance in particular.

Questions now really to be asked and answered. Things just aren't right within the club. Jerry and Leroy didn't look happy with each other, Brough spat the dummy out again, Mullally was more or less begging to be given a second stint - and that's before you start talking about the lack of execution of basic skills.

Normally with a 50 point win I'd be looking forward to the next game, but I can honestly say I'm not!

Not great again but I must have missed Brough spotting his dummy and Cudjoe and Mcgillivary arguing especially after Leroy handed him two tries on a plate.

this "friction" towards bradford thing, goes back to when they were top dogs and we were a crappy little team with no fans.
a lot of people still remember the things that were said,not just from bulls fans but from their chairman.
ironic thing is that despite claims that "shouldn't be anywhere near super league and how we are a disgraceand we are only in SL because of ken davy's money" how those bulls fans were wishing ken davy was their chairman instead of caisley?

like we have said, we took some hammer on and off the field from the bulls enough times, how fitting then they lost their super league lives at a crap little disgrace of a club who just have been kicked out of the league for good




now that karma has done it's thing i wish the real proper decent bulls fans well

I was appalled by the applause given to Bradford as they left the pitch. I had to remind/tell people about the buses and raffle tickets. Have we ever been applauded off the pitch anywhere??? I kept telling people to stop! Disgusted.

I was applauding as the bulls were leaving the pitch- I was applauding the GIANTs who were leaving the field at the same time!!!

You've obviously never visited Odsal then because away teams (except Rhinos) are always applauded off the pitch by those on the popular terrace.

Everything you've said is what is wrong with the game.

After working in Huddersfield for many years throughout Bulls glory period I'm truly disgusted by some of the comments I've heard. However, I know this is a minority and many Giants fans I know personally have said some kind words as have some on here.

So thank you to all those who have wished us well, good luck for the rest of the season (and next) and hopefully see you soon in the not too distant future.
