Not where we hoped or expected to be. I did expect we would struggle tonight but why is it we play so much better against the "top" sides and under perform against sides we should be beating?

In your opinion it's a game you should be winning, yet as a Hull fan I went fully expecting a win last night. I would have fancied us regardless of when it was played, but it was always going to be hard for you to back up from Sunday.

Hull are a horribly inconsistent team. When we decide we are going to turn up we will beat anyone. But at the same time we are just as likely to be the first team that lose to London.

i agree with the trolls on this one, we have no right to beat anyone and if the team plays great against wigan,leeds and saints then we should show the same respect for "poor" teams like hull fc and widnes

Being a bookie I can tell you we don't get rich from Rugby League !

In the 41 games we have played in SL, FC have won 26.

That in itself tells you our clubs are not that far apart throughout the SL era, so to think it would be an easy two points seems rather silly. Yeah you had an outstanding season last term but its a different season now and teams will be much more wary of the Giants then they were this time last season.

at the moment we shouldn't be beating anyone just because we seem to have a better team on paper,we have to earn the right to win games and we aren't doing that right now.
next game is salford away and we know what happens there every year against a team we perceive we should be beating.

Think you need to realise that you've had one or two good seasons and that may be it for a while. This has happened to other teams in the past and will again in the future. Expecting to beat sides just because you had an outstanding season last year is setting yourself up for disappointment and accusations of arrogance.

I agree I wouldn't expect us to beat anybody. I would hope if we play really well we could beat anybody but expect to beat them , no way. If you expect to beat someone you will lose and I think that is at least 50% of our problem at this moment. Hard work gets you wins and hard work can't blossom if you expect to win.

It really isn't poop, as I am not a new fan I remember that we came to SL together. At the time I didn't expect us to beat you, I hoped we had targeted it as a realistic winnable game but certainly far from expecting a win.

I've followed FC for far too long to expect them to win, as a poster said earlier it wouldn't surprise me if we are the first club to lose to London. Your club has done nothing for you to go about thinking your club should be winning these games.

News flash we are 8 games in and you've only won two games, on that form what makes you think you should be beating anybody ?

Were you expecting divine intervention or something? Are you unbeatable on a sunday and just cap on Thursday's and Fridays then?

If you had played well for an hour and ran out of steam then your comment about Sunday might hold some water. As it is we had the game seen up after 20 minutes and were happy to just go set for set from then on. You can't blame that on fatigue.
