| For those of you who didnt buy this year after the debacle of last season, or folk who had the cheap offers but didnt renew at full price, and indeed anyone who doesnt have a season ticket has this season's efforts persuaded you to buy for 2014 ?
i'm interested mainly in those who didnt renew after last year, has your confidence come back?
If you have been one of the stayaways this year will you be back next year ?
I personally know loads who said they'd had enough last year and haven't or hardly been this year so wanted to know if their attitudes had changed.

| I live too far away to justify buying a normally priced season ticket. When they were cheap I bought one just to back the club and in the long run probably lost out as I didn't make a lot of the games. Once they went full price again it just wasn't worth the outlay for the number of home games I would get to this season.
Last seasons dip in form wouldn't have swayed me at all from buying a season ticket if I still lived locally because it was nothing to do with the players why we imploded last season but down to the fact both Browns announced they were leaving. This disrupted what was begining to be a pretty good season.

I know that me old mucker. Just saying if they brought in the cheap season tickets I'd probably get another one. People used the dip last season as a reason not to get one and it was an easy way out. Bet they're regretting it now though.

| I am in the same boat as Moggie.
Did not get a ticket but travel is the problem.
If it was cheap would get one to support the club even though i would still miss a number of games

| I think it is pretty much the same for local fans who can't make a proportion of the games for whatever reason.

| If I don't renew for next year won't be due to performance but flown to the fact my transport also supports Town and like everyone else he is feeling pinch, so buying season tickets for both is a very expensive item. If he has to forgo one, if I Giants Then I won't be Renewing either. sad But All down to money. Giants great season but Town also doing OK. So which to choose? Terrible decision I know. As I have posted before I can't stand football so know what my choice would be, only hope his is the same.

| Out of the group of four I go with one person didnt renew, and that was 75% due to economic situation - maybe if they had stayed cheap he'd have stretched it, but couldnt for various reasons.
Hopefully he will get back into it this season

| i think 3 people who sat with us didnt renew this year purely down to finance, of the 3 only one has been on a regular basis, not sure if she will get one next year but will still come.

| I personally could afford a season ticket but can't justify the cost. The half season ticket I could justify and so bought one. The same will apply next season regardless of performances on the field.
If they don't already do it then I think the Giants need to market themselves to different groups and not just aim at getting everyone to buy a full season ticket. Maybe a range of season tickets would help. 1) A full season ticket. 2) A budget season ticket which gives you 6 matches against lower opposition. 3) A mid range season ticket which gives 3 top games and 3 lower games. 4) A premium season ticket which gives you 6 matches against top opposition. The full season ticket should be priced to give cheapest cost per game. Next cheapest per game would be the budget, then the mid range and the most expensive per game would be the premium.

| The issue would be what you call "top" opposition. I would imagine most teams wouldn't have put giants as "top" opposition at the start of the year. (Wigan fans still don't!)

| Thats quite a good idea, i think a flexi-ticket is still a good way to go, 100 quid for 6 games of your choice might encourage more people to take the plunge, just dont include the same discounted offers like in the booklet and dont give a reserved seat.

Apart from the fact it is a badly designed stand that you cannot really go into if the weather is bad.

It serves its purpose and we would have lower gates if it waa closed as a 99 no frills season ticket is much easier to shift than a 199 one and if people are happy with it then why worry.
Making it a cheap on the day stand would be an even better use of it if it could happen.

| I personally wouldn't buy a season ticket in that stand as i wouldn't want to watch the game from there, but ATEOTD people are happy to so fair play to them.
Also agree about making it a cheap option on the day, might encourage afew more to come.
But my main question was really has this season tempted to in to buying a season ticket ?

I suppose the other thing that would put me off is wanting to be in the family stand as the atmosphere is a bit better for the kids.

absolutely. The rugby is good, we are winning at home and are always competitive. It has to make the Giants look more attractive to the fans.

you will have to ask again when the deals are announced for people to decide.
no matter how the giants have done it will come down to price too.
if you said £199 for side on adult is the deal would people buy for next season? we would of got a yes/no answer.

| I would like to see the FM lower closed next season, whilst it offers good value for money despite the poor views and likely soaking etc I would prefer to see us try and get as many people into the side stands as we can, unless we are going to pull in over 10,000 next year, having 5,000 people spread out around 4 stands makes the stadium look emptier than it is, I would rather we have 2 full-ish side stands rather than 4 empty stands.

FM stand closed? where are the £5 in deals going to sit? side on? and all the other cheaper offers...may aswell not buy a season tickets if so.
would be a bad idea.
but your right about us being spread out, maybe cordon off the side stands so people are sat together more.
