Let's start with the coaches.

NB took over after we finished 10th. We have had an average end of season (27 games) finish of 4th. So play offs every year. One final eliminator semi for a GF and one CC Final. Top notch.

Agar took over a Hull side that were a top end club. He had a full cap, quality squad, first rate youth policy, excellent stadium and brilliant home support....He took the club backwards and played dull rugby given the players he had available. Struggled to even make the play offs. He is now at a club without a full cap, a lower quality squad, nowhere near the quality of young players in poor facilities and poorer support. Can anyone but the most stupid RL fan be surprised that only one win has been posted - against by far the worst team in the competition. Lucky to get another head coach job.

Over a season we would expect the Giants players to make more improvements and play better game plans than Wakey.

Wakey cant match our outside backs. They have a strong pack but bobby and mason should be raring to make a point. In smith/wood they have creativity in the halves but not the toughness of ours - we need to put pressure on them from the start get the big guys running at them and hitting their halves hard then whip it out to our outside backs. Lots of unexpected plays-chips over/jerry kicking back inside/ robbo darting from DH/ offloads/ switch passes -wakey are a young side (as in together not age!) we need to take advantage of that as they won't be tightly drilled.

As i've said on their board, the slate has almost been wiped clean regarding their players....most of them who were on the end of the years worth of tannings have moved on so this new squad haven't got that psychological thing about losing to us in their heads......and they will treat it like any other game with no previous in their minds.

If we play well we'll win ...maybe comfortably, but we need to get on top pretty early on or we could get frustrated and it could be another uncomfortable visit.

We have to start well and if we do that then we will win easily in my eyes. If we start slowly like we did againist london or warrington then we will need to fight for the win. If wakefield get on top for the first 20 minutes then with creativity in smith and john and wood at 9 we may struggle to get back. Their forwards won't take a step back so could be key in getting our forwards on top so brough brown and grix can get the ball flowing and let leroy george wardle and mcgilvary do the business on the edges.

if we turn up with the right mind set (unlike last time we visited!) then we should win this one, luckily i think we are on a high so should be ok on that front

players on both sides will be wanting to make a good impression with the ties both clubs have regarding previous players

Think we will be up for this after our poor show at home last time. Didn't go to the Hull game but with what i am told our defence was pretty good for most parts. As for Robinson going from half back down the middle he may be choose to do this wisely as we have a machine of a hooker in Aiton who doesn't really care who runs at him and hits well for a smaller player.

Another thing from a giants poitn of view is dicipline. When i saw wakefield play v bradford on sky wakey was given penalties away for fun so we don't want to get dragged into that game. We need to stay cool and play our game. If we get dragged into penalty after penalty then i feel we could lose the game esp if he picks mason and chan

Robbo has done it to better players than Aiton. Only really seen him in Bulls tv game. A very good first half and a poor second half by the guy. Smith is brilliant when he can be bothered. How is John. Have heard nothing positive about the guy at SL level.

God give it a rest Marsden your still as boring as ever. Never miss an opportunity to stick the boot in. How about acknowleding how far we have come in the last 12 months. I doubt we will win on Sunday, but the team we have, is probably the most well conditioned, we have had since Hudds nicked our last decent conditioner off us, and the rugby we are playing, whilst not getting us the results is alot more entertaining than the 5 drives and a rubbish Tommy Lee kick we had to put up with last season.

Clearly, you can't expect a squad with 18 new players to gel straight away, but the general level of performance has not been bad, just little things not done right at crucial times has IMO cost us at least 2 wins from the 3 games we have ended up losing.

If we continue on Sunday in the vein we have so far, being competitive for the majority of the game, then if as expected we lose, I will still leave happy.

The new super stand made with Bacofoil is ready for us to fill on Sunday. Let's all gather in there and make some noise.

Tommy Lee has done a decent job for us. But Brown and Anderson are very capable coaches.

Instead of blowing hot air tell me what I got wrong about Agar. With the riches of Hull he took them backwards. Feel free to prove otherwise The evidence on his player recruitment and development of young players is at best mediocre.

Where is the evidence that Agar can get 18 new players to gel? If he can't you are stuck with many ill fitting players for a couple of years.

If there is evidence that agar can coach please provide it.

It's only temp until Newmarket is build the north bank (away stand) will be cover in the next few weeks. That part of the ground pictured is known as Chav corner even sane wakey fans don't go there it reminds me of the old end pen on the lowfields Elland rd in the 80s. Weather forecast for Sunday is good tickets selling well so should be a good game.

Does that mean that there will be 8,000 from wakey and the 20 from hudds that your boards say is the maximum that we will bring ??

If you think scores in U20s games is the measure of development you must have a rugby league learning difficulty. It is about creating a system to get young players in their late teens / early 20s into the first team. Look for young players getting some regular first team footy. We have the likes of cudjoe, McGilvray, lawrence, eden, fairbank, patrick, wardle and walker. Who do you have at wakey? How many of them are in the England squads?

The talk of poaching players is assinine but commonplace among a group of wakey dimwits.

What about Sunday's game? And do you think there is any evidence that Agar is a capable coach?

we arent the only club that spends upto the salary cap.. out of the 14 id say 10 are spending upto the cap.

some have broken this in the past such as bradford and wigan...not the giants
