Just been announced as a Friday kick off

I'm not going to be able to go. Saturday would have been perfect, could have made a right day of it. As it is I will likely not see the game at even on the box so I'll have to switch off the phone and see if I can catch a re-run.

It's Friday because Catalan are guaranteed a home fixture with Hull losing and they are given the Saturday slot for French TV reasons.

Wire were excellent last night, but also werent really troubled in defence, despite Hull preassure.

Also, the emotion of being given the league leaders shield might go our way and overcook the wires.

1st place team has always been guarenteed the friday fixture, recovery time for the next game being given for finishing top

Very sad its Friday, no way to travel 200 miles up after work. Saturday would have been perfect. Terrible news for me.

Great trip Wire, probably my favourite away day. Particularly before that kebab place opposite the Railway got shut down! Some seriously hot chilli sauce there...

5. Good track record there
6. Welcoming home support
7. THAT train journey home
8. Be there to see them lift the shield.

Reasons NOT to go:

1. Friday night
2. Better view from armchair
3. Save cash
4. Hangover on Saturday

Tend to agree. They will and are strong favourites, but they have had lots of mental distractions with 2 big league games , and celebrations etc that there is a hope there mind not be 100per cent focussed on beating us.

And most importantly TO SUPPORT THE TEAM

Take a 5 - 10 minute walk to the Big Portion Kebab House on Mersey street in town, best kebabs in town and I'm sure any wire fans walking into town will be happy to show you the way
