Whilst it's unfortunate for Wakefield - Huddersfield won't be thinking about that, if they can get a player in to improve the squad then they will. Unfair maybe, but nothing can be done. Just hope that Murphy & Ferguson want to stay.

The administrator is obliged to try and recoup these shameful debts...so players are available.

The Giants / Hull and maybe a few other clubs are offering a few players a stable medium term future with better coaching , conditioning and rehab. That is something to be proud of.

Maybe Glover has asked for some players to be sold to reduce their salary overheads and to get them to cash flow operating levels that match the attendance - otherwise you'd be going from frying pan to fire?

Maybe these players are payments for debts outstanding?

Under Nathan Brown, Dale Ferguson will do very well, Maybe he has slipped a little in the last 12 months, But tbh. So have Wakefield.

He is a quality player, And has lots of potential, A good signing to pick up on the cheap

As for the Wakefield fan who says you should be ashamed, Get a life son. If someone says, Do you want a quality young british player for next to nothing, And Hudds said no. They would go straight to the next club who would bite their hands off.

Ferguson is a good capture by the Mighty Giants, (and maybe murphy to follow) this does take us up near our salery cap (wakey thats the most you should spend prior to not signing any more players)

I was a little worried with only 2 major signings in the off season but 2 younge established SL players and with the way Keal played on saturday i really do think we have the strength in depth to take a title this year. well done Giants and well done to O'Hara's for a shrewd bit of business.

Ferguson looked brilliant when he first came onto the scene. I haven't seen much development in him since then unfortunately but i put that down to John Kear. Under Brown i think he'll flourish and prove to be an asset to you guys. He ouses potential

Over the weekend we have read on the wakey website and direct quotes in the press about a new owner. Even that the new owner had addressed the players! Now we discover the administrator is still the 'acting owner'. No wonder a young player like Ferguson wants to go to a stable , well coached club. I would sugar coat this paragraph but I lack diplomatic skills

I feel sorry for Wake though. At least a 4 point deduction [probably and now losing their top players, the future is even bleaker than before. I hope the new owner puts some money in and they can rebuild - albeit in a division below - as we have had to do [many times!. Even Fax are bouncing back.

decent signing i reckon looks to have plenty of potential, under the giants set up he should kick on to become a top class forward, i understand where wakey fans are coming from regards us taking there young players but thats sport im afraid, happened to the giants before when bridge and gleeson were cherry picked by the top clubs. but having said that ferguson could always have said no and remained at wakey like murphy has i believe.
