No Kearney or Langley for the Bulls ( their best players IMHO). Hopefully Orford will not be fully fit.

Bulls have one of the thinnest squads in the game, so injuries to key players hit us harder than most. We also don't get the chance to rest guys who need it - Lynch is a good example. Thin not cos we are spending the money on superstars, but because we don't have it to spend, and are spending well under the cap. A fully-fit Bulls squad should be able to give anyone a good run for their money. For one with key injuries and walking wounded, it was always going to be a big ask.

Indeed. (Apart from Stains who we never managed to trample over when it mattered). Too many erstwhile Bulls "fans" had trouble coming to terms with the new reality, though

What goes round comes round. Just a shame it takes wealthy owners to turn things round, and sometimes arrogant chairmen to screw it up in the end, cos there is otherwise not enough money in the game. Does Ken Davy have a wealthy cousin or similar?

Quite a few years ago, I applied for a senior job working for Ken. I blew the interview, big time, so nowt came of it. But just imagine...had I got the job, maybe I could have worked on him over time and persuaded him to leave the path he has trodden and join the true path...?
