| Thought he was awesome!always looking for the ball and made yards everytime! With him and Burgess coming on they really put it up the ozzies!Thought it was between Crabtree,Burgess and Tompkins for MOM.
As a Wigan fan i would like to say he has proved a lot of nay sayers wrong with that performance and hopefully he can do it next week against the kiwis.

| Eorl was rated or ranked best on today`s performances on "sporting life".
Confirmed what I thought. Well done Eorl.

| But we Fartowners always knew how good Eorl is / can be - he proved tonight that he can mix it with the best !
Think some of the Anti - Huddersfield brigade may be forced to eat their words after that - Well done Big Eorl ya did Huddersfield proud !

| he seems to be getting big raps on the Vt and a few have admitted they were wrong about him..
I think Burgess and Ellis were excellent tonight with Eorl not far behind mainly because he spent a bit less time on the field.
As an interchange prop Eorl is hard to beat and should be an England fixture for the next 5 years.
Time for Morley and maybe Peacock to retire after tonights performance.

| You cannot judge any player on one performance. The Aussies know Morley and Peacock. They did not know Eorl.
Eorl does his best stuff as an impact man off the bench but hit him hard early and he can lose effectiveness. All players have weaknesses and will have bad games occasionally. Crabtree justified his selection and deserves to be picked next week but the key to all of this Internationally is competition for places. Morley and Peacock have shown consistently in previous Internationals that they are top performers.
I would personally drop McGuire for NZ and have Eastmond in his place. Eastmond has that arrogance/self belief that has him playing the right way. McGuire, although he has the ability IMO, doesn't believe in himself. If he believed in himself a bit more then I reckon he'd do much better.

| Thought Eorl made a big impact today, although seeing a re-run of the game, I'd give MOM for England to Tomkins, he certainly made things happen and was tenacious with his tackling.
I somehow think the Aussies mentally switched off second half as they murdered us first half, but having said that it gives us hope after the second half performance.

they certainly did switch off which was a big mistake, when england upped the ante australia just couldnt get back into gear and ended up struggling

I would not consider dropping either of them on one performance but MORLEY is not the same international player that he was and we saw that last season as well as this. Hi is not as menacing as he previously was
MORLEY was a great player and now after this series would be a good time to hang up his international boots.
Peacock again a great player but did not seem as effective in the second row. He is another player who i think needs to pick up or consider international retirement.
I found it sad that both of them seemed to go AWOL against Australia when other forwards did not.
maybe they have a psychological block after being hammered by Australia over the years i dont know. I do think that we need a clear out of all those who have failed so many times and bring in players with no fear . That is why it was great seeing Tompkins playing . No fear and just trying to be different.
I would be looking to build a team now for the 2013 World Cup. Every international before then should be about blooding and developing players who can give us a chance of being competitive and winning the WC.
We cannot afford the WC in England to fail. It is a great opportunity for the game here we ned to make sure we are ready to seize it.

| Big Eorl did very well. Probably the only England forward with the physical presence to trouble the Aussies. Some good off-loads too.

| Nice to hear the big Cheer when Crabtree came on against the Kiwis.
looks like he not only picks up the crowd when in a Giants shirt but now does it when wearing an England one.

| Another good game for the "big fella" hopefully he'll now kick on from here and move his game up yet another level, he's certainly proved to the doubters he has the ability to play on the big stage and has been a big plus for this England side and has won the well earned respect of a lot of RL fans/critics from other clubs who doubted his ability to cut it at international level. Really hope he has a great game and gets a try in a England victory next week to cap what has been a great season for the "Gentle Giant".
Well done Eorl

| Big Eorl was immense. He's the new leader of the pack. JP and Mozza are the old bulls, and Eorl, Sam and Graham the young bulls. Massive respect to him, he's looking like a super star these days.

| Thought he was fantastic last night and the only downside was whe the ref penalised him for holding down when it was clear he was having his shirt pulled so he could not release. Eorl was clearly annoyed by that.
Crikey even the bulls fans near us were crying out, 'come on Eorl'.
Good banter last night with the Kiwi supporters, too.
Bring on the Aussies
