whilst it may be good news from a playing them soon point of view it is very dissappointing that we wont be playing their best team and very sad for a good player to get a nasty injury.

I hate to do this to you (well, actually, I don't

) but when Longy was out injured earlier this season, we did Leeds over twice and beat Wakey by a long distance. He won't be missed as we have plenty of options for his spot, all of them very good.

Cunningham, however, is another matter altogether. But he should be back by the semi.

I cannot stand Long at all but I was thinking the same thing.

Eastwood has ripped us to shreds on more than one occasion. I'd prefer Longy to be in the team to be honest.

I didn't have a drop until AFTER the game when I was almost dragged into ther Gas Club. New baby, getting up at 4:30 and Top Gear is not an ideal combo.

Now I see why Sean Long was not offered a 2 year contract. I thought his passing, kicking and trys scored were brilliant. He is going to be the one to watch on the day.

Cayless unlikely to be back as still out injured and the possibilty Maurie Fasavalu has broken his arm this weekend.

Confrimed that Maurie is out for rest of season.

Looks like Saints may be going into the semi final with only 1 recognised front rower in Hargreaves.

It's not nice seeing players injured but this is great news for us.

Indeed, I hope all the players have a speedy and full recovery.

That said, our chances for winning keep getting better.

I guess Kieron Cunningham will not be playing either. It appears that his punch on Stosic yesterday broke his cheekbone and eye socket. Will be out for rest of the season.

Cunningham should be out for 3 to 5 games i would have thought.

Ya know i watched that game on sky and when i seen cunningham give him cheeky one i didnt think there was much in it!!
I thought he had caught him with a stray finger in the eye or something,
but out for the season bit of a shocker and yes get cunningham banned for this act of thuggary..

I'd wait for confirmation of that one if I were you. Rumours have a way of turning something into something entirely different.

To make you all feel better, we will now also be without our fab newbie Wheeler, who has damaged something in his leg and will be missing for a month, and our very talented youngster Lomax, who got hurt in our Wakey match and will be missing for an as yet undetermined time.

I'm actually beginning to wonder whether we will have a full 17 by the time we get to the semis!
