Darnell will play wing or centre.

From what I hear Cudjoe wont be no where near fit for the start of the season and could even retire.

If Cudjoe isn't fit then he has to go. We have already had two full seasons of injury.

This coming season is his last under his current deal. If hes injured the majority of this season then its hard to see him get another one.

Golding is a hard worker and will have a point to prove. He’s a good defensive fullback and will hopefully tighten up our defence. JT at loose would provide a bit of something else and perhaps the unexpected.

Shame to split them as I can see a good threequarter partnership for the club going forward in those two but they need game time or they might get itchy feet and they need to stay "involved" in the squad on a regular basis IMO

The reserves enables squad rotation in a positive way for coaches. Allows youngsters to play the odd game whilst the player the take the place of still gets a run out.

Really surprised you weren't interested in Ryan Hampshire, to me he would of been a better option at fullback for you.

Ash Golding seems to have a good head on his shoulders, great work ethic and is safe as houses under the high ball, he just lacks the pace to be a top draw fullback at this level for me. Still, if he fits into Woolfords plans/style of play he seems like a solid signing for you guys but there was better available over the last few months.

Rumours suggest he turned down a contract offer from us some time back

No idea how we’ve managed to sign Edwards, Gavet and Golding and just lose Mellor.

We were interested but he wanted more money from you. him trying to play games has resulted in him being stuck hasn’t it- so he’s probably taken a lower offer to get a contract at all. Perhaps that attitude suggests he wasn’t actually a better option than golding who everyone agree is a hard working model professional. And for us the right kind of person is more important

Hampshire clearly wanted more than he’s worth from everyone so he’s stuck back where he started , not sure Hampshire fit our style either

That's fair comment jools and I'm not knocking the signing, but he has a poor record on Injuries so just hoping we haven't made a bad choice. Apparently Woolfords pick so watch this space
