Bradfords loss has made it a defo. They have 23 points with one game to go so can't catch our 26 points.

Doubt wakey can catch our points dif. So probably be finishing in seventh.

This leaves us to face hull or catalans depending on what they do.

Looking at thier fixtures hull away is most likely.

I think if we can have a performance tomorrow and a win against Leeds (yes that would be double over them in years!) I think we could take hull! Or least I live in hope!

We absolutely, categorically, do NOT deserve to be in the top 8.

This just shows the total farce that the playoff system is. That a team as woeful as we are at this point in time theoretically has a chance (albeit slim to non-existant) to win a league trophy.

All this is doing is prolonging the agony of this season a week longer & making us fans pay for another game.

Of course we deserve to be in the play-offs. We won enough games, even given Bradford's points deduction we would still finish 8th. We started fantastic and the wheels fell off when the Browns made their announcements, but thankfully we don't decide league placing only on the second half of the season, but on the season on the whole.

Yes we will probably flop in the play-offs, but as Adam says we live in hope.

We havent had a woeful season at all. We have had a bad 2nd half to the season. Prior to that we had beat Wigan, Saints and Leeds and sat pretty at the top of super league.

And nobody is making you pay for another game. Either go or don't, your choice!

too many medeocre teams get into the play offs, hudds, bradford, wakey and hkr havnt had great seasons at all but 2 of those 4 will be in play offs, it should be top 5 or 6... 8 is too many for a 14 team league

Almost certain now it will be a trip to the KC for us.

We need to show much improved commitment and performance in the final two rounds for us to have much hope when going over there.

His prediction at the start of the season were that we would get beaten by Hull in the play-offs. If nothing else I would like the pillock to be proved wrong, but that's looking unlikely.
Oh well - there's always next year, problem is I'm running out of years.

Ivor C&G Scarf, Browns decision to leave the club and return to Australia was indeed known at the beginning of the season. For him to suddenly decide he was staying and signing for St Helens was not known (another English Super League Club)

well yes we have made the top 8, that must of been a minimum objective at the start but failed on the real one of top 4.

feel 8 teams is too many like others have said...should be changed.

some did say we wouldnt make the top 8 this year though so we have proved a few wrong



we are in shocking form... but have no fear of going to hull fc away if it is them, we have a decent record over there.

Let's hope that's not the only way he's proved wrong on this season.

For me we went downhill after the Wigan game, we got completely dominated in the pack and just never seem to have got back on top since. The Salford game was the indication that something was seriously wrong, it was like watching a game of basketball.

Could be a cracking game if both teams turn up in good form and put the graft in, we have 2 teams at the moment the team that embarresed the bulls on saturday or the guys that were hammered by Widnes the week before..!

Big difference is after Saturdays win and a good result against the Tigers next week and we will have a little bit of momentum going into the Playoffs..

We've got 1 - the team who is getting hammered by everyone and there is absolutely no chance of being anywhere near full, the fans are like the players and gave up weeks ago and apart from a few hardy souls, or silly buggers these days, i cant see hardly anyone making the effort to go to another game !!

Sorry, but thats how i'm feeling about our team now.
