| another tough game, can we do it?
no wardle it would seem, so would it be a straight swap with connor coming in to centre or do we bring broughton in and move murphy to centre?
personally i would like to see murphy stay on the wing, our left side is depleted enough as it it without having all 3 of our left edge men missing.
both teams coming into the game of the back of losing runs, who will get back on the horse

| I think this is the perfect game to get back on the horse!
The champions at our place is enough reason step up our game and revive our journey to the top 4.
I think the mentality after 2 losses will fire both teams up, but both teams are smart enough to play it safe!
I'm confident for this game, Saints have more injuries and the added pressure of trying to live up to being champions on a losing run.
I hope for a win with safe hands being the key. The only frustration being, why we couldn't hold on to the ball like that over easter.
I would personally stick with Murphy in the centre if Wardle is out. We should stick with a plan B should we get suspensions or injuries. I hope because of Murphy and Broughton's talent they both play in the case of missing outside backs.
Connor will have to wait until he can get the fullback spot back for me.
Let's rip into some champions!!!!!

| We could win any game if our players could catch a rugby ball - unfortunately though it seems at the moment they can't, or aren't concentrating enough to do so, so unless it changes over this next week i can see another close defeat handed to the opposition on the back of our many mistakes....but on the other hand i can also see them realising that they need to up their game and go back to playing basic rugby league and not playing panic rugby from minute 1 to minute 80, thus enabling us to play a free flowing attacking game which is too much for the weakened champs !.

| If we can complete sets and cut out the errors we have a great chance....
wardle banned so id expect muprhy to return to centre and broughton to get another crack
cox to come straight in off the bench to replace bailey

| i would be tempted to keep murphy on the wing he seems to play better there, although he doesn't do alot wrong wherever he plays, although i'd have no problem with broughton playing
could be connor in the centres?, or, get this, maybe even move bruno back to centre? we have bailey and now cox who can cover in the back row, but then you'd lose bruno's workrate in the middle which could be vital against saints' pack.

| We need Bruno where he is...we've plenty of other options without taking him away from his main role.
I'm ok with Murphy and Broughton.

| If we switch murphy that means three players in new positions. That could turn out to be a turnstile!!! I'd leave smurph, put connor in the centre with lawrence at second row out to help him defensively. Taai /Bailey can do a job at loose.

| Bruno to start. To play 80 if he can. Smurph out on the wing, bring Connor into centres. Start Taai at loose. 50 / 50 match. Can't wait.

| Ferres and Wardle being out could help us cut out pens and errors seeing as these two are right up there in this area

I'd go with that- perhaps mullally for cox as cox hasn't got match fitness and mull can provide some go forward. Weather forecast is for heavy rain so I'm not expecting a classic!

| I'd go with.
Grix
McGillvary
Cudjoe
Murphy
Broughton
Brough
Ellis
Crabtree
Wood
Huby
Lawrence
Ta'ai
Bailey
Mullally, Koppy, Cox, Robbo.
It will be interesting to see how Cox will be used but match fitness or not, he's going to need game time at some point and no better time than after Easter.

| Oh well, self imposed pressure, through silly mistakes and silly penalties have consolidated our place in the bottom 4. Think it's about time we got it sorted, I'm fed up with this "we know what's wrong, we're working on it" crap. I know it isn't Anderson and the rest of his coaching staff that drop the ball, throw shocking passes and give away stupid pens but at the end of the day he's the man responsible for all this, the buck stops with him. Time for him to stop with the lame excuses/comments, cut out all this b*llsh*t about "how good would we be if we cut out the errors" and get it sorted now before our seasons over Unless I'm sadly mistaken, defence apart we're nowhere near getting anything sorted. At the moment our opponents best form of defence is our pathetic panic stricken attack, we're out own worst enemies.

| well we had enough chances to win two games today but we didnt take them! our bads ways came to the fore again with the errors
it was a fiery game, but saints got away with murder in the first half, took childs an age to finally have the balls to send some one to the sin bin and that was about the 65th minute, a 2nd blatant late hit from masoe.
poor crowd, seems as though the fair weather fans have been put off by the 2 defeats over easter.

/mose deserved his yellow, but the guy should have also walked for the chicken wing 5 minutes earlier.
Brough played the ref a blinder.

| he was poor for both sides today was Child ( no S!) he is just a terrible referee, he lost control early on and it went from bad to worse.
anyway we didn't help ourselves did we? as Brearley says,we had enough chances to have been out of sight by half time, saints offered nothing ( apart from headhunting) until we started gifting them possesion, which they took gladly.
the 2nd half was a war of attrition really and we never looked up for it, despite them giving us plenty of chances late on, we never looked like breaking them, good defence or poor attack? i would say the latter.. when we had them under pressure on their own line we looked clueless to be honest, how many times did we try sliding a kick through for Murphy? how many times did we give a rampaging forward a drop off pass to charge onto? you'd think that Paul Anderson, of all people would be championing that tactic.... we just lacked any kind of composure and were literally just throwing or kicking the ball around willy-nilly.
other than that, we played fairly well in defence, line speed was better, we got some good forward at times but our lack of composure near their line ultimately cost us.

correction masoe deserved a RED, blatant late shot, did one in the first half on robinson too.
huby is on report for the incident you mention. on report is more than what half the saints team got away with in the first 20mins.
brough and childs dont get on at all !

It was a yellow.
Where as you get on report and the blatent late shot on Wilkin was just plain missed.
Don't talk like it was one way traffic, Huddersfield got away with plenty of late shots.
No chicken wing, no late shot. If we had had our smarts about us Cunningham would have pulled Mose off the field as he was ready to lamp a player when he got up.
