Feel sorry for Rick Stone, imo he has inherited a near impossible situation. He has come to a team who were just about dead and buried due to the lack of leadership in getting shut of our coaching team 2 months after they should have done and giving some players contracts which were far too long. We also now have signings already made and coming in that Rick may not want and players leaving that he could have wanted to keep. I read Melbourne are releasing several players one a Fijian flyer probably well know to Rick and Hinchy called Kobobiate who is a beast that does the 100 meters in 10.7 secs, just what we are after to add some much needed pace to our backline but wont be able to get due to been upto the cap. We look atm to have a squad of squad players especially in the back division. I for one wont be judging RS until he has his own men in place like we allowed PA to have which could take a while and lots of wheeling and dealing. Some of the signings are questionable at best and looked like we were planning for life in the Championship. Quite a few decent players have become available yet the fact we have no room for manouvere just weeks after the season has finished is a shocking mess up. Not sure the reason for holding back on the season tickets but I say get em released cos nowt is gonna change the decision of fans to get one or not to get one. Also can we have the shirts home and away released well before xmas so we look a little organised this year? Thanks in advance, rant over

Perhaps there's still hope - they might fail the medical!
Good Luck with trying to get Gaskell on the field next year. Since July 2015 missed half our games with 3 different injuries. Was injured when he left Bulls.
True, Gaskell has started training early to try get over his injury, hasn't played since 20th May when his hamstring went.will be interesting to see how he goes in 2017.
