Although to some extent we contributed to our own downfall we were beaten by a far better team on the day, and credit from our fans for that was duly recognised, but having won only 4 games all season do you really want to debate your short comings for the other 13 you have lost? just a thought really



The thing is about making a ridiculous statement is unless you can guarantee success it makes you look rather silly, especially when you are having to rely on a team who have let you down time after time this season. Hope that's the reaction you were wanting squire.

It's worth saying as well that my "we have been where you are" comment is made in the knowledge that we are not really very far from it again. I don't think anyone at Wakefield is under any illusions that we have hit the big time, but we are enjoying this season.

From what I've seen of Wakey this year you deserve to be where you are in the table. It doesn't usually lie.

Danny Kirmond was a favourite of mine at the Giants and I was sad to see him leave.

He epitomises Wakey at the moment - plenty of attitude and character and a great captain leading by example.
