Friday night as the first time in the last 5/6 years that i chose not to go to a Giants game. I know Hull KR are making changes to their ground which is great, but for the time being is is a waste of £18 to stand in the Giants end behind the sticks. I went last year and it was a waste of my time and money as i could not see a thing. I know many other Giants fans did the same thing.
All the best for the rest of the season and i look forward to sitting in your new stand next season.

I've never had a reply from the RFL nor HKR regarding my comments and complaints last year!

i know, we didnt sell enough tickets to open it apparently so were just letting everyone pay into the well.

I seem to remember we were the first side to use that stand as the works started part way through the season- as well as the (non) view the toilet facilities were woefully inadequate and the stewarding was appalling, they refused to allow me to take my daughter into the main stand to use the toilet facilities there insisting as the chemical toilets weren't big enough for us both to get in they insisted I let her go into a chemical toilet by herself (thats safe) or left the door open whilst she dropped her pants (really!) now I'd hope that following the mass of complaints from our fans (there were plenty - and you weren't the only one to receive no reply/acknowledgement Ivor) you'd hope that for subsequent matches they improved on that first visit for other sides who followed us. Unfortunately the damage had been done and KRs woeful management of those complaints did nothing to encourage us to return. KR simply failed to make the most of a bad situation and have lost revenue as a result.

True...most people i know who go to most away games refused to go on Friday due to last year.

They didnt feel they got value for their money so have voted with their feet this time.
I wouldn't have gone if i'd have had to go in that stand and maybe if others knew they weren't opening it might have gone...either way KR lost out.
