I agree with that annoying, but understandable given his injury lay off time.
personally I havent seen enough good stuff from ferres to convince me to put him in before chan or bruno, and although LOD (or ferguson) wasnt great at the end of the year I have seen what he can do.
Ferres will have had a full preseason training and time to learn the systems and could turn out to be great -Im just going on what I know of the players based on what i've seen personally.
By the start of the season they will all be in a different place and dependant on how they have performed in training PA will make his decision and Ill maybe rethink mine once I know more.
Ferres was outstanding against Leeds, a danger every time he got the ball, which was generally going forward at speed of a good ptb. before he signed my perception of him was a dangerous player going forward who was not so good defensively. From the little I have seen of him in a Fartown shirt I would stand by that assessment. a good preseason and knowing the systems better will improve the defence, but I suspect that will always be the weaker side of his game. If the forwards get on the front foot enough and he gets good ball moving forward at pace I think his strengths will certainly outweigh his weaknesses.
As to how we will play next year, I think a lot will revolve around BF and whomever plays second row on the other side (Chan, Bruno or Ta'ai?) big powerful running and ball playing second rows with LOD and the props providing a platform for them to get on the front foot and attack the edge like BF did so well against Leeds.
