Quote ="no fear"Very surprised by the negative Ferres comment. He is a tough, aggressive player who offers plenty in attack - as evidenced by the Leeds game.
Even ignoring his excellent second 40 against Leeds, why would anyone be so quick to write a player off who joined late-season and consequently has only played a handful of games for us?
Lawrence and Fairbank are hard workers and can play an important role, but their attacking options are limited and IMO do not compare to Ferres'. Faribank is a real grafter and will tackle anything but Ferres provides us with more options going forward.
Ball in hand, there is no comparison between Ferres and Lawrence/Fairbank.'"
