I said 8 games ago that with coach and captain going they were in effect dead in the water and I take no pleasure at all in being proved right. Sadly I feel today could represent our last shot for a long time. The reason I think that is that kens strategy for the last 3 years has fallen apart due to a lack of passion effort and commitment from the players and his own weak management in not getting rid of an overrated coach who has now been leaving for 3 years. Sadly now what are we left with is a club that can't be in with the big boys sadly the support just isn't there. What of the future Anderson must now come in get rid of those that want to go and I fear some other big name departures, realistically more expensive tickets will mean less st holders and maybe we jog with the pack and join the middle ranks cas wakes etc . Will ken back Anderson to spend the full cap or will he decide there just isn't enough to build on. I'm sad to say the least ,10 weeks ago I walked out of headingley with a big smile some ,Leeds fans said enjoy your night you will win nothing I didnt say much and I believed that this season they might be wrong then the wheels just came off. It was a good ride while it lasted and having been there in the dark days I'm grateful for that.

If Brown had been given the shove after Magic weekend we probably would be looking at a top 3 spot IMO.

After the Magic Weekend is a bit harsh imo, though I was distinctly unimpressed with the performance, however the Widnes debacle should have been the end. Out-coached by Dennis Betts, says it all really.

Dragons and Wigan fair enough, Salford was the game where the defence was all over the place, then Widnes a repeat of no desire, the final straw for me was HKR and he should have gone, clearly a team not wanting to work together.

The London win gave him a lifeline, yet we bombed a winning position again next game, but some tosh about we looked better, Cas showed what the players thought about that, and finally the cup which is a difficult game anyway. Had we got shot after HKR we possibly have won all 3 of the league games, and still have a top4 chance.

Oh well C'est la vie
