| cant really tell how good or bad we are looking because of the poor quality of the opposition.
in reality games against the likes of wales and france, with respect are nothing more than glorified training sessions.

| Agree. Staggered at choice of Sinfield at 6, too slow! Widdop has played 6 for Melbourne all year, he has to play. Chase is too individual in test matches. How can he pick Wilkin, appalling in both games, too small, will be crushed by Aussies and kiwis, look at the size of their loose forwards! Props too old now.

| Thoughts our halves did okay myself, but as Mart says against ANZ it's just a whole new ballgame. The halves operated mostly either side of the ruck when it was in the middle channels,Chase on the left,Sinners on the right.Agree that after past experience thought Sinners was too slow at international level but he looked to be up to the task last weekend, hitting the runners and kicked well, turned them around.Up another couple of levels in pace for him this Saturday though can he hack it then.Plus the halves combined well enough to put Yeaman over on the left flank in the first half.Widdop did look good when he came on admittedly.
I would def keep Chase in at 7,he might make some blunders,or poor decisions, but then a bit of individual skill from him might lead to a try for himself or another. That's what the Aussies don't like, something unpredictable.
The last time we nearly beat Aus in the 2009 FN Final we played split halves,STomkins on the left and Eastwood on the right and all these two guys did was step and go when they got the ball.It nearly worked despite Aus blowing out the board in the end,it gave them all the trouble they could handle, but on that day we had Sam Burgess ploughing up the middle creating the space, not sure the props we have now are capable.

| Think we will get absolutely stuffed against Oz and the Kiwi's won't be far off battering what's left - the speed, size and intensity was far too good, not to mention the skill levels, which are on a different level.
