our attendances have somewhat stagnated the last couple of years which is disappointing, but thats just not down to fickleness like has already been alluded to SKY and HTFC have shafted us this season!
It's also tough times, and if you don't have a season ticket, trying to find £20 a week might be the first thing to go, and that's just if there's only one of you going...
Add to that the change around in times, our less than acceptable second half of the season and the move to fax it all adds up.
without doubt our biggest threat to attendances are the company that pays good money to broadcast the sport rather than succesful neighbours as has been the case for the last 20/30 years.
with me not being able to attend many sunday games then im obviously happy for the friday/saturday games, but my fortune is someone else's misfortune, i know our crowds take an absolute hammering when on sky's friday/saturday night slots.
i think i'm right in saying that all our away games over the border have been friday or saturday nights ths year with the majority on SKY.... Wire ( x2) Saints, Wigan(sat) on sky Salford on friday too which has obviously dented our potential away following too at these games !!
