pretty disappointing stats again, too many missed tackles, too many penalties,not enough metres made or tackle busts.

but the stats for the players who came in, are pretty good, kruise leeming's stats are very impressive as are mullally's and connor.
yet again im afraid, it's the senior players letting us down.

last week we had 54 missed tackles, this week 31, in our last 2 games we are making, on average, 42-43 missed tackles a game

compare that with the previous 18 games when we averaged 22-23 missed tackles a game.

the coaches have got their work cut out the next few weeks,
maybe we need some new tackle bags???

Our edge defence has been very poor. Teams know they can target jerry and broughton and will probably come away with points. The number of times carney was stood with ten metres between him and jerry inside was terrible! Folk were screaming at him to move across.

true jools, but it doesn't help when players don't stick to what the team do, all move together or not at all.
too many individual errors and bad decisions in defence are costing us because it has a knock on effect within the rest of the defensive line

Penalties AGAIN a disappointment. Those stats do show some positives. Cas only missed 14 tackles - but we managed to score 30 points. We were clearly well behind with %possession and spent a lot more time defending- but we still managed to score 30 points. With some better kicking it could have been a different story.

Could have sworn leeming missed a couple of tackles, one on the line that was a try when he was marker. Anyway by the by really. Thought it was an improvement, taai MOM but Connor was close (and just back from injury) he can certainly return a ball. Broughton was poor at catching but I know he's better than that (I saw few Salford games last season). The forwards were better going forward and Patrick wasn't used enough IMO. Kicking poor but knew it would be, connor has got a good boot on him though, apart from brough hes the only giants player drop out to half and beyond in years. The missed tackles the bain of our season at the moment. Let's hope it comes together at the back end, like Anderson said we'll be a decent team.

Yesleeming did miss one on the line- he was left terribly exposed!
Broughton has been poor in the air all season. He gets up there but he's Not dominant enough. I'm happy overall as although defensively we were poor the effort was definitely there in a very different side to the one that played last week.

Leeming did not miss a tackle on the line. Milner powered over but Leeming was still cling to him so does not count as a miss.

Where's the stats for Effort, cos as i was told on Friday that's all that matters !!!!!

38 tackles for bailey yet he only played 45/50 mins.top effort.
