Putting these players into a team of players who are having much better fortunes than us will bring the best out of them. Despite the losses as a team these players as individuals have all the potential to be trophy winners.

Or perhaps they have been picked with 2013 world cup in mind. These players are all quality but have struggled once the light wieght mobile tactics was sussed out by other teams.
We make some good signings to aid the sort of players that have made the squads and it could be a very different year for us.

As a wakey fan it's a shame your ex-player Kirmond is not in the knights squad. 6 try, 6 games. Captains the side well and is having a good year.

100% agree. Had a great season and led by example since given the armband. Its players like Kirmo we have missed. Gives his heart and soul. Give him back and you can have Ferguson back

Nah you can keep ferguson. To be fair I always thought fergy had good potential. Just didnt seem to kick on his last year with wakey from when he broke into first team. Hopefully he can rediscover some form.

I thought we were getting a solid player in kirmo. How wrong was I!.

He has bulked up, found a mean step and shows good speed for a forward. Been our best signing from the three ex-hudds. Raleigh has been a machine and the leg drives get a 10+ gain most times. Overall thankyou for the players

Always thought fergy was best for us at loose forward. Needs a regular spot and position to start showing what he can offer.

I hope that his potential has not dryed up and he kicks on.

I've always liked kirmo- gives his all and a nice guy to boot- but I wouldn't swap him for LOD, doof (on form) chan or Bruno. Is he really a better/ on par player with the other back row forwards in the knights/ full squad. Nope.

But he gives 100%, can you say that about many of our players lately? I liked kirmond and was surprised NB let him go

Shows the difference in opinion. There are very few forwards in SL at present I would swap kirmo for. He's got a good habit of busting tackles and outpacing the opposition. Throughout the year he has improved both physically and skills. At 26 he's coming into what should be the best years of his career. I can see him playing for gb soon if he keeps it up. He is on par (maybe not better at present) with some forwards in the national team.
