So all the talk of the achievements of 2002 has dragged back bitter memories for Garry schofield and he's having a pop at the giants. Does he really still hold a grudge Almost 15 years later!
He's not exactly known for getting it right so looks like a grand final is on the cards! Really miffed how he has spoken about kev brown-I hope Kevin goes out and smashes it against hull to prove the nasty bitter vindictive man wrong. If he looks at opposition players with this much disdain it's no wonder he's failed to make it as a coach.
This has really got me mad!!!!!!!

He comes across as a sad whinger. Decent journalists don't just criticise and slag people off . They have informed and educated opinions.

I expected nothing else from this bitter and twisted small minded individual.
We'll see how his divinations pan out, he said in the RLE (I think) at the start of the season, that we would finish 5th. and get knocked out in the first round of the semis by Hull FC.
Pretty definite forecasting if you ask me.
Wonder where he gets his inspiration now that Tetleys has closed down.

Yeah that's all well & good but Schoey's actually right in his main point. Until Fartown win a trophy we will always been seen as "bottlers", as he puts it.
ATEOTD it's pots in the cabinet that count, not making playoffs & Cup finals & then falling short.

Agreed. We night not like what he says but that doesn't mean he's wrong. If we win a trophy this year, all well and good, he will hopefully apologise for the comments -If that's what he actually said. I wouldn't even believe the date on a paper like that so wouldn't be too surprised if his words have been twisted.
And, he took us to Old Trafford to beat Hull FC 18-0 in the Premiership Final. A day I'll never forget. Cheers Gary. |
