There is no charge to get into the legends bar, all you need to show is your game ticket or season ticket

If the watcher attended instead of being mr depressing he would know it is open to the public and that there is no charge. Thats if you even care.

i agree, the billboard seems like a great idea! but who's going to pay the bill? No doubt a bill board will get damaged if its not placed high up.

Maybe we should ask the town hall if we can hang a Leigh Flag up there! Theres loads of things we could do and loads of ideas we can post but actually going ahead with them is another thing

The towns of Wi*an and Warrington have little signs under under their "Welcome to....." signs that say, "Home of Warrington Wolves" etc. This is a permanent advertisement of the clubs as you enter their towns boundaries.

I sent mine some 18 months ago to all my ward councillors and still await a reply

No I lie I did receive one reply who said that players wearing Leigh 'jerseys' were on the sign I communicated back that Wigan also played in the same 'colours' I received no reply on that

Send it again Fred, it doesn't cost anything. If they receive several dozen then they can't ignore it.

Gathering pace now we are communicating about signs to our useless councillors

Can we all try and pull together please we all have different ways of thinking and differing views etc... but lets try for once in pulling in the same direction, Im no fan of the tories but Camerons BIG SOCIETY in this matter could be a good idea

Maybe an e mail to the club for the Board of directors to call a public meeting could perhaps move something forward?

(Good gawd asking for big society and public meetings Im beginning to sound like a blimmin politician something I definately am not

this isn't a dig btw, i know the club are going into the spinning gate this weekend, will their be LISA forms, fixture lists, posters and merchandise there we can try and sell?

What I suggest is that instead of bleating that we haven't enough fans, and begging for more people to turn up on a website and in emails that only the converted see, that the club works to harness the energies of all those people prepared to do a bit.

This might mean more money. It might mean a printing firm willing to print stuff for free. It might mean foot soldiers willing to distribute leaflets. It might mean people who are good on the phone calling businesses to drum up promotions or sponsorships. It might mean people expert in web marketing and social media to raise profiles.......

Whatever it is, it won't be executed without a plan and direction of that plan and that has to come from the club.

I know they have a lot on their plates at the moment, but frankly, if more of this type of stuff had been coordinated while we still had a backer then maybe we would have already achieved crowd growth above and beyond that which has occurred by pure word of mouth and then maybe we still would have had that backer.

Just get on with doing something to convert apathy into enthusiasm instead of taking the easy option and blaming failure on fans' apathy

LISA forms will be there, as IVE printed some off and dropped them off at the club so they can be there tommorrow.
