Well the refs controllers get DVD copies of every game played in the Ch, Ch1, and SL games so theres no reason for them to try and impress anyone as seeing is believing (or disbelieving as the case may be).

Overall I thought the same , we played harder , faster , stronger against the Warrington stars than the W1g4n juniors , It looked to me that they just couldn't get up for the game until the last few minutes when they took the lead , just 5/6 of their genuine 1 st team given 25/30 minutes each would have made for a much better match

So anyone fancy any of those youngsters on a dual contract?
Ben Davis stood out for me, he broke the line a few times and showed some excellent footwork for a prop. Not Huge but he looks very strong (recall him on handidly (is that a word) flooring one of our guys) and with the opportunity thats not quite arived at W!g@n yet he'll have a point to prove.

THere are other's just not sure of thier names.

Davis was good so was the full back he was the man of the match for me played well all match.....

Davis would run riot in this league..... get him signed.

Shaun Ainscough..... was out of favor at Wigan at the back end of last season........ we need a top quality winger IMO.

Don't forget some of these guys are lined up for the Wigan SL squad this season so they're not going to want to part company with too many.

What I don't want us to do is take a guy who they'll want back in a month although I suppose thats the risk with dual contract players.

I clarified the dual contract regs (re the numbers involved) with Ian Millward today, clubs are allowed 4 dual registered players with a maximum of 3 from one club.

I heard we're signing 2 from Wire... no idea which one's though

Who was the blond lad who came on for Leigh no. 18? and went to right centre. He looked as though he had a bit of pace.

Josh Vievers is in the Wellens mode, great reader of the game and good organiser, but I feel his lack of pace may be a problem.

Adam Higson, local lad signed season before last he's around the 21 mark now, had a good end to 2008 but was dogged by injuries last year, more of a second row (well thats where he prefers).

Lack of real pace isnt a problem outside of SL, but then again Wellens hasn't done so bad and he's slower than a leyther buying a round.

down that winger over 75 mtrs at Hilton Park and tackling him, brilliant
dig it out Fred and put it on....

Hilly wasnt born at Hindley Frank i asked a while ago but cannot remember were he said but it was deepest Wi**n somewhere, i will ask him again.

Proper Wigan Lad is Hilly, wouldnt move to Pats so they dropped him from their scholarship I understand.

Spot on Mr C. Leigh had the chance to take him on loan last season and cocked it up, do you really think he's going to want to come? He'll probably break into Wigan's first team this season anyway.

He/they may view the duel contract thing as a better option, allows him to show them how good he is at what should be a higher level, and can be recalled immediately.

lets hope it doesn't go like Tom Hemmingways went

Don't think we'd have any way of preventing it, the only thing is if it was just to rest other parent clubs players for up coming key games, we should get them back.
