Come on Kevster. Starbug changed my mind with his comment. We should be going to watch Leigh and this game will be a closer test to what we will be playing against the rest of the year. I would just like to add to this thread that I think that Morty should be given a big pat on the back for getting up and carrying on after that crunching tackle from Harrison. It would have been easy to go off injured. I am now looking forward to next sunday.

Didn,t get up too well when Amistead give him some of his own treatment on the hooter. He even spilled the ball. None of our lads did. Playing like that he will be a target for all the other harder hitters.If you can't take it don't give it.

He looks a quality prospect does Harrison, however his hit on Morty was nothing on JT's last years

The big negative i thought there was in the game was that we thought it necessary to constantly take the england front row on up the middle, rarely did we see anything expansive on our part. Although it wouldn't have changed the outcome, i would have liked to have seen more go through Ridyard, who looks 10 times the player he was at this stage last year, and mcConnell out wide and possibly try to have stretched warrington more than we did.

Always difficult when they were playing to SL rules , hardly ever ' square ' at the PTB , and the defence creeping up all the time , we played quite a flat attack which doesn't give you time and space to get out wide , and running from deep into Atkins,Anderson,King and Solomana . you have to get it spot on

Early days for us , you could tell they'd been training abroad in nice weather , whereas we've been struggling in the snow and freezing temperatures

Hopefully It'll be better next week , a touch weaker opposition and some ring rustiness gone after yesterday

We do need to tighten up that right flank defence though. Most of their tries came there. Work to be done I think, because all teams will exploit that if nothing's done about it.

Not all teams will have Richie Myler ,Ryan Atkins and David Solomona running at our defence

It was our focus point for our attack too with us hardly if ever going down the route of Grix and Penny who aren't regulars.
