Well im not to sure who won ?Maybe Dick Jones or Wurzel , i had a decent day betting wise , i had a few quid on Bobs Worth ,and was very lucky with Salsify , that shoud never have won , but for the poor mistake of the other horse , still it was an enjoyable Cheltenham , and im sure i finished ahead of the Captain , so JOB DONE

I had me for 19 wurzels 23 and you 16 makes it 78 wurzels, me 72, Charlie and the publican on 66

Well done for doing this tiswallace it's been fun only time I ever back a horse is Grand National day.
Must admit I got my selections by reading the race cards and all the reviews I could , odd time when I couldn't decide on which one I went with my gut feelings, only mistake was I changed my choice for Gold cup and finished second instead of first but it wouldn't have made any difference to the final table .

Ha ha, I have honestly only placed 1 bet in the last 5 years and don't follow the horses at all. Although I must admit it is a totally different sport to watch when you have an interest in the race. If I started betting my luck would instantly run out lol

I should have reversed those football tips above

I'll see Fred about a donation on Monday morning and hand the boxed up mug over for the winner and I don't know if Charlie knows Wurzel so he can hand over the special Vintage Vino , but I'm sure arrangements can be made amongst themselves



We may have another comp for the Aintree meeting but it's never as popular as Cheltenham , so if there's enough interest then we'll have a go

If Newcastle beat Wigan you will have a full set.

Im sure the National meeting will be just as popular , we have had a comp in the past , and Charlie has tip for the National ,it is Colbert Station , at around 14-1 .
