the LSV have to be realistic, but for me should this have not all been sorted a long time ago?

the LSV need the partners, the partners now need the LSV - where could they go?

Maybe some of the parties hould have taken legal advice well in advance of moving onto the site, handing over funding etc.

I was recently speaking to somebody from the harriers , they are not too happy with the facilities they have been given

The stand doesn't have enough seats for them to host the type of athletics meetings they wanted to attract

I'd really like to meet the person/people that designed the sports facilties and let them explain the ' thinking ' behind their plans

The small stadium next to the keepmoat at Doncaster has 499 seats

That number would have been perfect for the Harriers,Leigh Athletic , both Genisis and Centurions reserve games

But no they have about 120 , and those are of little use because there is a standing area/walkway in front of them where people stand and restrict the view from the seats

I'd like to know how much that stand cost to build , as it is neither one thing or another , the Harriers wanted an indoor sprint track , they now have a semi covered one with what looks like heaters in the roof space

Without a doubt. You also have the factor of the seats being uncovered when considering the space between them and the roof.

Get the meeting sorted, get the newspapers down, make it very public knowledge this meeting is taking place, invite all that needs to be there and then if they dont turn up(the LSV and A Burnham itll show them up)

Emotions are obviously high, and rightly so, but if LSV is to become the success we all want it to be, then I don’t think a public hanging of LSV/Council representatives is the way forward.

IMO it would be better if the Partners had their own meeting first, as I’ve no doubt a lot of the issues will be the same for each member, it also shows that the Partners of LSV can work together for the benefit of all the community. From this a fixed set of questions/agenda sent to LSV/Council and then a meeting arranged with LSV about a month later, giving them time to obtain the answers, and hopefully propose a way forward that is acceptable for all concerned.

Hopefully everyone can get together for this meeting for the good of all. Seems there is a lot of bitterness at the moment from all parties using the LSV regarding costs.

Regarding the Marshes, the developer didnt really put up much of a fight did he?

They were dipping their toe in to get a reaction, got one, withdrew it 'for the good of the world and everyone in it', then a week later put in an alternative.
