O2 retail are franchised, I understand the Leigh store is part of a number with the same owners

The facts are a 250% increase in total shirt sponsorship cash is a great result, and the O2 deal is far deeper than just the cash paid - the partnership will be a great one, thank you O2 Leigh

I wish all clubs and the RFL could show this type of increase

A Global brand who pays nothing or a Regional part of that brand that pays well and benefits from association locally???

Well done Rob!! If we are earning significantly more from this deal than we have in previous seasons, then I'd call that a result.

To have a large and successful company logo associated with the club and on the Leigh shirt next year has huge potential, one in raising it's profile and secondly in attracting other sponsors and partners.

The fact that it is O2 Leigh or Santandar Leigh etc etc is irrelevant.

A big, no massive pat on the back to Rob and everyone else who brought this deal to our club. Thankyou O2 Leigh for supporting a local sporting establishment.

I heard a mate mention it, but I think he was having me on.

He said that when it was his birthday, his wife bought him an i-PAD. Then when it was his son's birthday, she bought him an i-POD. When it was their daughter's birthday, his wife bought her this i-PHONE thingy, that you mention. Anxious not to be left out, and noticing the developing trend, when it came round to his wife's birthday, my mate bought her an i-RON. Apparently this was when their troubles seemed to start, and things got worse, when he tried to explain that it was supposed to go with other 'i' items, such as the i-COOK, i-CLEAN, and i-WASH!

My missus says typical Leyther, but she's from Hazel Grove and does'nt understand proper folk.

A few of the Wigan fans are not happy with their shirt sponsors on their board, some don't think they are high enough profile, wait till they find out we have O2 Leigh on the front of our shirts. Again well done to all concerned.

Somebody within O2 at a senior level will have signed this off as branding is very important to large PLCs and they will have deemed Leigh suitable to wear the O2 logo.The financing may be from a local franchise but thats irrelevant we will have a much better financial deal and wear a logo that everyone recognises which you can't say for many SL clubs sponsors.

We’re just changing the company phones over from Vodaphone who we’ve been with for the last 10yrs to O2, when the deals done, I will email my Directors thanks for supporting us and our sponsors.
