I think he'll be gone at the end of the year, doesn't offer anything other than the odd good 'drive' every other game.

Hobson has always been a liability at every club he has played, he just can't control his aggresion correctly to play rugby at this level.

He'll end up at Dewsbury or Keighley next year

Hobson could have been a great player but cant control himself. If only he took the ball up a couple of times in a set of six he would be much more appreciated...im not gonna knock him...he just needs to sort it out. He still has a few years in him...think he is only around 28. Too much misplaced aggression really. Good luck to Leigh for rest of season...great players have always come out of your town.

Hobson aint been the same player ...or potentially the player he could have been since he picked up a bad head injury when we played down at London Skolars.

Then he did try to keep his agression in check & ran his weight/power. Now all he has got is weight & no power. This frustrates him & thats why he comes in with cheap shots etc. He must have been well & truly embarassed by watching real props on the park on Sunday.

He seemed to have a bit of a 'sulk' at the end of the game as well, I think it's about time he took a step down to the reserves for a few games until he gets his game in check.

I have seen him play in the reserves this season and he went well. His problem is his short fuse imo.

Was that only to get his fitness back though - not a result of bad performances. I hope that the introduction of Castle starts to make him work harder to earn his spot in the side but on Sunday's showing it doesn't seem to have much effect on him. How many hit-ups did he have on Sunday, one?
