Why does it matter who's turned us down?
Players and their agents will shop around for the best deal for them and Leigh Centurions will shop around for the best squad with the money they have available.
It's still early stages and Players have been known to come back and accept the offer at a later day, likewise clubs can make revised offers.

I just hope we don't leave it till 2013 to try and 'tick the boxes'. Backfired on us this year didn't it. We have to aim to be the best supported team, once Widnes have left us. Also should SL bound Widnes be allowed to enter the NRC and the GF play off series next season, as this could stop someone 'ticking a box'.

Was told the centre was Nanyn. Reason given not enough money offered. Someone said to me '"the offer was still too big imo" or something like that.

Of course they will be allowed, the official announcement of who gets in is not until March and by that point the fixtures will be out and doesn't the NRC start in Feb?
Wouldn't exaclty be subtle if Widnes just weren't in it!  |

We should just aim to be the best we can, hopefully boxes will get ticked automatically along the route.
As for Widnes let them play I say its a given for us playing them, unlike playing the harder teams. |
