Surely we must try to avoid the newco scenario. If we are chucked into Champ 1 just as they change the structure of the game we will find ourselves in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Arthur's shares are split across family and Alan Rowley has a large share holding also according to recent companies house records.

That's not our place and we don't profess to be that driving champion.

Like I said, we are here to help whoever wants to lead. No more no less.

Any successful organisation has a number of smaller individuals working from beneath assisting as much as it can.

How that method arrives is for others (the shareholders) to resolve.

In the meantime and until that is resolved, there are people wanting to assist however big or small that may be. There is no place for politics and 'he said she said' with the TDC.

We simply want the best for the club and try to represent our members as best we can.

I stand corrected, I assume Alans shares would have been part of Arthurs original take up or subsequent re issue that I was unaware of, but still fair enough, all reasonable people who have the clubs interest at heart

IMO its the job of the existing BOD and CEO to call a shareholder meeting and get an answer on weather the shareholders will relinquish control.

The TDC are not and do not profess to be the driving force behind anything nor is it our place to either raise or resolve the shareholder issue simply because its none of our business.

If you decided to take the club forward, or anyone else, we would be here to help as much as we can.

Thats the point Keith, nobody knows, because at this moment the ' interested ' parties would not all seem to want to show their ' hands ' , so the best way to resolve this problem would be a shareholders meeting, where in essence they can decide the ' call '

What is clear is people are dancing round some of the more potent issues which need addressing without further delay IMO and that was my point granted i fell into the trap of addressing that to you personally Steve but realise as your using a touchdown club account on here the views are those of the TDC and not your nesesarily your own I suppose. Well 'to me' administration and a season in champ one is better than whats happening now and whats likely to happen in the future.

There is so much fat hanging off this club that it simply cannot breathe anymore,there are so many people who say they have the clubs best interests at heart when in reality its only there own interest that matter.

Even if this financial mess gets sorted its just a matter of time before the next hits

We have spoke and I'm a cards on table person so I won't hide I am one of the potential new investors.

I have stated to a club official that I'm willing to play a part in a NEW set up if I feel it's right.

My hope was that someone by now would have addressed the shareholder situation and either got at least a yes or no from all on the basis of will you either come back on board and invest the same as other potential investors??? or will you give up your shares???

When I say a new set up if Keith Phil and/ or anyone else want to sit on a board fine but i personally will expect them to at least match my investment over a an agreed term either 3 or 5 years regardless of any old or new issues.

If not willing to do so then leave or I will it's simple really.

I will not speak about who else is or isn't involved as its not my place to but I will say i haven't moved from my original view that it needs to ideally be NEW people with no previous IMO to avoid all the politics and connections to the past if it's to ever break the mould and succeed.

Central to my involvement and investment will be share release and also a fan focused mentality and a break from the historic tried and failed route. By this I mean getting people like yourself with great ideas back on some rung of the ladder and creating a structure that is long term and community/ fan orientated one.

Trust this clarifys my position which Trevor and the other potential investors are aware of.

While there are things not best served to post on here I don't do secret service and don't judge books by covers I will form my own opinions and keep an open mind on people but I will decide at he end of the day who I feel I can and can't work with and if I'm not convinced its right for the town and people of Leigh I will stand aside and let people crack on.

Correct time for real change not just a mix up of old and new people with same historic ways which is what I fear could happen.

Well personally I hope Admin can be avoided. The structure of the game is about to be changed and we will miss out again. I hope they are looking at options to avoid it. Champonship 1 will be a disaster and we will never get out. IMO once they have sorted the top 20 clubs that will be it. I can't afford to be following the club from Lands End to John O'Groats either
