I wont ever go to DVS again, awful place to watch or play RL. I have never seen Leigh play well at the place - too narrow and short for my liking.

They wouldn't have got back in the game from 22 down if leigh could have had there starting 17 out there.
The problem is when you dont have strength in depth which we dont, then the top teams will punish you when youv'e got 2 or 3 of your better players out

Did Michael Worrincy get put on report in the first half when he went down or did the ref put the Sheffield player on report? After the ref had stopped play and gone over to Worrincy when he was running away he crossed his arms aloft which means something has gone on report does it not?

Presumably the incident where Worrincy appeared to get dumped, off the ball?

Maybe neither the ref or the TJ saw what happened so he put the whole incident on report rather than any player

The incident was put on report, but it is clearly Menzie Yere's tackle that is at issue. You can see the highlights (if you can stand it) on Eagles TV/YouTube. You could always stop watching at 22-0.

Iv'e already watched them mate and very good they were to.yeah its definately Yere but maybe the officials didn't see it,maybe they just saw the leigh player on the floor

He will now get banned for a few months.

It definitely was a dangerous throw but I think the RFL will see that no serious injury was inflicted on the player. Yere was commited to the tackle. He will be warned about doing it in future and that will be that. Compared to the RFU the RFL are not as strict about this type of foul play. I agree he should sit in the stands for a few games as Michael could have easilly landed on his head from the tackle and didn't even have the ball.

I'm sure he called 2 Sheffield players forward after the incident

It shouldnt matter if a player is injured or not.

Imo Yere was not committed to the tackle and thats why he should be hit hard - he is simply a walking disaster waiting to happen and the RFL must stop it before it does end up him putting someone in a wheelchair.

I have just watched the Sheffield TV highlights and some of the core defence from our back row was appalling!

Was banned at least twice last season for similar offences so hardly think a warning is sufficient.
