I watched the Hull v Wigan game and as soon as Liam Watts smashed McIlorums face in (incidently, McIlorum was concussed

) I knew Watts would be cleared. Any Leigh player, not just Jamie or Hock would have had the book thrown at them had they committed that offence, don't forget, this was Watts 3rd Red Card of this season


How could he be cleared to play again this season? Its been said the injury was due to poor tackling technique by McIlorum

Rovers had the good fortune of a visit from the 'Fixture Fairy', Their first four games where against their Championship rivals and the least experienced SL club, US! They couldn't have asked for a better introduction to the qualifiers! we know all teams play each other however, Rovers had 8 points in the bag and built their confidence accordingly ! (I'm not having a pop at Rovers just explaining the events!) I wonder if Leigh would have got away with playing a seriously weakened team when, the result still had a great bearing on the League positions?

As I said, you can laugh all the way to SL however, you cant compare what Rovers have achieved to what Leigh did, we were far more dominant in the Championship than Rovers have been but it doesn't matter, its all history, see you next year
