I do feel for Sam, and i have read his tweet on this matter, his situation does remind me of Renis documented misdemeanors . I hope Sam is only guilty of over reacting to a person acting strange at Sams property .

Not Sam's biggest fan but I do feel sorry for him. I hope certain people at Leigh now do the right thing by him in return for his silence.

In BFGs case I make a change of rules ,he CAN play with matches, or lie down on the East Lancs road, he's only been quiet because he's a Fax fan ,there's nowt to shout about there

Having seen the video Sam originally posted I think this is really strange
He carried on playing for four months after and despite the police being called he wasn't charged with assault
Something is not right with all of this but Sam is going to tell the whole story soon and until then I wish him well and I'm sure the club are helping him .
too many tragic events have happened with players in the past because they didn't get the support so it's important Sam is supported and helped through what must be an awful time

A lot of you commented on a very delicate situation, Sam has incurred a massive ban from the doping panel and he has never doped? If he has assaulted the said person why is he not doing time in prison?? Nobody knows what happened so it would be wise to keep our mouths shut till we find out? One thing I do know is he would still walk into our pack at 13 and make us a whole lot better!!

Don't think he has been sentenced yet has he Oggy. Judge wanted to wait for outcome of UKAD investigation I think.

I think a fully fit and on form Sam from 2014 would be in the 19 but not sure he would currently get any where near this team. Who would you drop to play Sam; Gaz or Cory?

Atomic I was talking about sentencing following his guilty plea to common assault. He may not have been found guilty of doping by UKAD but the way it all reads about how the evening played out will have many people wondering. Also atomic that is not the result of the high Court appeal which is yet to happen.

Barlow would be in the 17 for me, but suppose we'll never know will we - seems a waste of a career

I can't quite visualise Sam Barlow cowering in his bedroom if he thinks he is being burgled.

Details of the case and his appeal on TRL forum - case against him overwhelming - his ban will not be overturned.

He has always tested negative in the past he should have just complied, despite the annoyance of tester coming to his house at night
