Here's hoping the Leigh lads have shaken off the defeat to Wire. If they have shaken it off properly then I expect them to win easily in Cumbria - and especially so after Fev did us a favour last night.

Moimoi had a stinker last Saturday and some people have suggested that he's not good enough for SL. Well, we all should remember some things about the big man. He's had a lot to contend with since moving to Leigh (family stuff and a bad injury, etc) but the fella has kept going. He'll be out to prove people wrong and I fully expect him to be a massive impact player for us come the 8's.

People usually only notice the big metres he makes, but his defence is fantastic for us too.

,I'm expecting a hard game on Sunday but the team hopefully will be in the right frame of mind and chuffed with last night's result,as we are back in the driving seat now.As you say it's not been easy for Fui but the guy will bounce back I've no doubt of that he's a professional,Gareth Hock had his problems but he's playing very well now.
I didn't get to see the Warrington game for obvious reasons but I'm sure the boys will want to show we are still up for the Challenge,I'm going for a score of Worky 16 V Leigh 38 ,the Worky ground is suited for our open style of play hopefully it will be a fast pitch and warm.

Thanks Ant , I did set my Sky - plus to record it,so I watched the game on Monday night,I was very impressed with the tries we scored,and for me Ryan B had another great game,our pack has been our strength this season ,but I think the Wolves pack out - muscled us ,though our Halves and backs were better than Warrington.
I also know under the old rules Penny's try wouldn't have stood,although I do like the new ruling.

Aye, our forwards had it all to do against a SL pack at a very fast pace in very warm weather. It was just too much in the end, especially second half.

Brierley stood out, indeed. We'll do well to keep hold of him if we don't get promoted. And, even if we do!! The lad is class and getting better too.

The tries we scored are what Leigh are all about. Fantastic.

And yeah, Penny's try was superb, but Mcnally's was better after Liam Kay broke free and kicked over to him.

Is that Iain Thornley the Wigan centre in the Workington squad or do Workington also have a player named Thornley? The Wigan lad is very good when he's fit.

For me today's g ame was good in parts I thought Jamie Bloem (Ref)was a bit petty with some of his decisions,and I thought now wrong with Sam must interception try,some might think different,and gain Hock had a very good game his offloads very good and Spencer and Emmitt both had solid games, Worky didn't offer much to trouble us, but overall a good win 2 points ,move on to Hunslet on Wednesday , I hope I can be there .

Thought Workington played to defend and take what chances came but our defence was too good for that, we played some great attacking rugby, made our own chances and took them. I've no idea how Rowley chooses between Higson and Pownall, both are excellent. Hock has really hit some great form now after a shaky start. Bob as well playing all the full 1st half and more of the 2nd after doing a full 80 against Wire in such a fast game last week! Mr Bloem I thought yes got a few things wrong but he kept control of the game, penalised Workington for slowing it down early on and kept it clean, which after some refs we've had is all we can want really.
