There is quite a lot I like about Leigh, the only difference between me and a few who can see no wrong? I see it and say it.

If you think the owner made a wise decision to have a rant before watching the game again then so be it, I don't. If he had bided his time he could have made a more structured complaint without the heat of the moment insults.

Are you 100% sure? The Sky guys said it was a try inc. ex-referee Cummings and he knows his onions. Would the try have been awarded if it was... Cas, Leeds, Wigan?

Obstruction? Don't you have to move to cause an obstruction? It was the most blatant try you are likely to see, if you want obstructions watch the Hull FCv Leigh again. Hull scored 2 with obstructions.

We could all be positive, like you, and say we'll be top 8 before the season started; and criticise anyone with a more realistic outlook. That would definitely have improved us, wouldn't it!

As soon as Pelissier bumped into Maria it was obstruction, he should have gone round him. Maria being dragged away was irrelevant the offence had already occurred.

I appreciate most things the 'club' do, I don't feel the need to keep saying so on here, I don't look for negatives but I hate excuses and will say so.

The "where have I stated that" comes from me agreeing with another poster that DB's rant was wrong, you criticised me for being negative therefore you have a positive view of DB's rant as do most on here.

The quality and consistency wasn't good, but having a second look suggests it wasn't appalling. Some of the rants against the decisions come from fans who haven't got a clue about the laws of the game, I don't include the learned gentlemen on here in this group.

Not having the same opinion as Cummings & Co doesn't make me wrong.

Ok, We'll look at your way, here's an example. realistically,we'll do well and be satisfied if we finish 9th or 10th. My criticism was the fact that the message we should be sending out was the fact we CAN finish in the top 8 and encourage more folk to turn up, which in turn would have been much better for the club. As it now happens,I think some things have gone against us (no need to go into that),and avoiding that, we would be in a decent position. I hope you're satisfied now that your prediction looks like you could now be right. I still think we could and should've been in the top 8. A good half back pairing would have seen us there imo,but it never really materialized. I honestly thought Drinky & Riddy would've seen us through, and i was wrong,and now Derek is fixing that right now with a player coming in before the Catalan game. With all the adversity so far, we have competed really well and not been far off,so yes, top 8 was realistic.

It's 5766 average for our home superleague games.

Pellisier played the ball player I would imagine thus creating the Maria to obstruct the cas player, clever play by him to be honest and many a time he would have got away with it. Once the ref had given no try it would be difficult to overturn.

The other thing that annoyed me with this was Hicks, not for the first time as video ref he continued to watch replays to see if the ball is grounded when it is irrelevant to not giving the try - the man is a buffoon as a VR

Maria was pulled away from Pellisier so that the tackler could get at him, but the obstruction has already occured!

If he was doing that which I agree with you on then he obviously didn't think it was obstruction..otherwise why bother with the touchdown

I would hazard a guess that he was looking for a clearer reason for denying the try, knowing the storm that would follow his obstruction desision.

He was sure but it would have been better for all concerned if Pellisier has knocked on, having not seen any 'clearer' reason for his No Try decision he went with his first call. He didn't bottle his decision he stuck by it.

That's just ridiculous. If he was sure,he should've just made his decision straight away.I don't know if you watch NRL, but as soon as they go to the bunker, and they see an infringement,they don't pussyfoot about, they make a decision immediately. I'm sorry reffy,but our officials are not up to it. Something needs to be done to improve the performance of our officials,and that buffoon Ganson is not the right man to do it.
