I look at the bigger picture.Higson gets injured,we won't have a choice.Are we still experimenting with Dawson? Or just a case of no cover for there.

Think it was a choice of Dawson or Harper to play wing.

Eze Harper scored 2 tries for Barrow at the weekend (after the transfer deadline) so I assume he is now on loan there again for the rest of the season.

Brown will be in at centre subject to fitness, AJ will be on the wing with Dawson. Smith will be next in line with Worthington and Armstrong as cover. We will not be relying on players not with us in 2017

All the ones who have chosen the Canadian Dollar and an easy season next year IMO cannot be relied upon to give 100%. Only Armstrong who isn't going to Toronto has publicly committed himself to our cause till the end of the season, something missing from Liams recent film performance. It wouldn't have taken much. But as well as that the other players have to be able to trust the players they play with to do what is expected of them. Jukes has alot to think about, but I suppose no less than he had early on in our season as alluded to by Derek in his weekly Leigh Observer column.

I agree Derek. The thing that has disappointed me most, about the Toronto fiasco, apart from the apparently 'underhand' way they have gone about targeting our players, is that the said players have not promised a commitment to Leigh until the end of their CONTRACTS. That should be the minimum the club is entitled to, especially after demonstrating generosity and loyalty to those players. I wonder how many of them would have been as well remunerated had they chosen clubs, other than Leigh, when we originally signed them? Given the apparent mass exodus for the Canadian dollar, I would suggest that our original offers to them were the best on the table.

Perhaps the most revealing document about who is/isn't still at the club, is the player/shirt sponsorship page in the programme. No number 9 (Beswick) & 33 Barlow, aren't in there, as may be expected. However, neither are 5 Liam Kay, or 15 Jonny Pownall.

All four of them were in the list in the Dewsbury programme, a couple of weeks ago.

Can't say I'm surprised if players have been officially moved on. Especially if the club are saying there was enough salary cap space for Jarryd Hayne!
