Ive asked and you can turn up and just watch the one game,(ours) however it will cost you £18 which is the normal price for the West stand anyway. I think thats what Im doing as I dont feel up to bot games.

Normal price against Championship sides. Not against a Div 1 NCL side. It's a shame East and Miners are playing so far away, or else people could have at least gone and supported either of those teams.

Wigan v Leeds it's worth £18 any day. I know it's Wigan Reserves v East Leeds amateur team but you don't need to tell anybody that.

Whilst I agree a cock up has been made about tomorrow referring to Leigh Centurions as Wigan reserves is silly.

I am another who will not be paying an increased admission price for a Leigh vs amateur opposition that should be finished as a spectacle around the 30 minite mark.

I think £10 or £12 would be fair and I would have been in attendance. The club however instead of using the match as an opportunity to get people in and watching a Leigh match have instead decided to view it as a chance to rip our fans off, that's what disappoints me the most but I am becoming accustomed to the club letting us down of late.

I must have missed something here. Since when did Leigh supporters start watching Swinton en masse? So much so that the BOD have identified that we are paying far to much each week watching both clubs in these tough economic times? None of our group have shown any inclination of watching Swinton, I as a fellow Leigh supporter have no intention of watching Swinton either.

The club is so massively out of touch with its loyal supporters and with people in charge who can come up with loss making decisions like this it is seriously losing direction. IMHO.

Charlie will be there , but only to watch the Leigh game , as i dont want to miss the National , to invest todays winnings

Surely our Board and Swinton board are not that out of touch with what both sets of supporters want and I presume there is a real reason for this.
I'd be amazed if deep down our board actually think most Leigh fans would want to pay more to watch a 'double header' when most other clubs have cut admission prices to try and actually get people interested.

That is an interesting one Jenky. Dare I say, could the actual answer be never before in the post war era?

Could the answer be that at least the programme team have realised that there wont be enough interest to produce one .

Can see it being a bit crowded in Fred's video box with 4 teams crew's in it ?

Sorry there's no programme. It was MY SUGGESTION, agreed by the CEO, based on these factors.

(1) Previous season's sales at this stage (e.g. Hull Dockers, Lokomotiv Moscow) have been extremely low.

(2) We have just produced two programmes, in little over a week, (Barrow, Workington) and a third one would have been too much to ask of a team of volunteers. (based on experiences last season and indeed this)

(3) Yours truly has suffered a recent family bereavement and been in hospital for an op. - I can't even attend today and am gutted about that.

Well folks Im going to watch Leigh, as you all know the club need our money right now.
You dont have to be a mathamaticion to know crowds are still down on budget and the more people that stay away the more likely it is we wont have a club to watch in the future.
Times are very hard for me atm, finance wise and health wise, but Ill support my team.

The club had the opportunity to help the fans out in these harsh times you don't have to be a mathematician to work out their financies are tight and with it being the 4th home game in 14 days they could have set the price at a tenner .

But instead they chose to try and screw every last penny out of them .

Wallace as you know we all think you have done a great job , with the Tipping Comp , so as i know your fondness for Seafood , when i see you , i will buy you some Prawns , Mussels , Cockles , or maybe some Crab Sticks

If there had been a realistic price for just our game I would have gone, but not willing to pay £18 against an amateur team when I usually only pay £16 to watch a championship game.
