Myself and Dick Scratcher have been banging on at him to do hoops, he did last year and then he knackered his knee and we havn't seen him, cue our new kit being rumoured to be awful. I also hope he was winding me up about the colour scheme of the away kit.

I think this years shirt was a good un and I hope we carry on in the same vein.

Not wanting to be pessimistic, but I dont think the club will be giving many if any free season tickets away, despite the prices this year, weve made no new signings, finished poorly after a great start, theres just nothing to tempt new season ticket holders atm. I am being just truthful, it is a brilliant idea though but dont think itll get many if any takers.

Totally agree. To be honest I'll be surprised if we sell as many this season as we did last. At least last season we had the optimism of another Millward era starting. We're still waiting.
Reading today's Journal it doesn't sound as if we are going to sign the sort of players to allow us to play attractive rugby. It's great that the club are trying so hard to sell tickets but it doesn't matter how cheap they are or what initiatives we have, it has to be backed by a product people want to buy. Anyone coming down last season for a one off match, wouldn't have had their opinion of Leigh changed much so only a few top signings are going to tempt anyone who didn't have a ST last season into buying one this IMHO.

well seeing as no design has been "passed" by the board as yet how does he know what it will be like?
if its so bad it may get knocked back and i still feel that no one would say the stuff theyve designed themselves is crap or even submit something theyve done if the consider it crap. why would they?
maybe he's pulling your leg?
