Against all odds we won and we kept on winning, mostly.

What I'm saying is, it can be done. The right coach can forge a set of players into a team with a team spirit that is hard to beat. We aren't a team. We are a set of journeymen with no confidence going nowhere.

Get a top coach quickly before we are fighting against relegation again. It has to be Tony Smith or Des Hasler asap.

No coach under the sun will do any good with this rabble, there is no pace in the team whatsoever, any decent team that is willing to run the ball at us will win every time.

It took 75 minutes before a Leigh player finally got to tackle Riddy. Leigh allowed him all the time he wanted to stroll around the park, picking his passes and kicks. The tries he scored were gifts provided by a Leigh team that is defensively a shambles.

If Riddy didn't wish to kick conversion attempts in the 1st half towards to North Stand out of respect the full marks to him, if he was trying to give Hardman some practice that was either quite dangerous or he was quietly confident we were dire enough to beat without the extras.

Either way he was proved right.

Maybe Fev fans should have saved the fireworks till the end of the match.

Despicable

Ridyard has missed a few this season (albeit mostly from the touchline) and gave way to Hardman as kicker early in the Sheffield game last week - Hardman kicked something like 38 out of his last 42 towards the end of last season. In turn Hardman hasn't set the world on fire with his kicking this year so not surprised they switched back today...the real issue is we score a lot of tries out wide.

We won't get relegated, because of Swinton & Rochdale. Other than that, WELL DONE (to all concerned) for hardly re-signing any of last season's squad...I think it's called Karma. Coupled with our owner's rants, this one season to forget....ALREADY ! Roll on 2019

I suspect when Rowleys Tornoto roll in to Fev town Ridyard will be either targeted for 'special' treatment or the forwards will be told to run at him early in the game to try and tire him out as the coach will be aware that to give him free reign is dangerous.
He had a fine game today (best I've seen him have for a very long time).
