I was rushed in to hospital early friday morning with "excruciating" abdominal pains but the morphine worked wonders
It's looking like it was a kidney stone, i dont even eat kidneys but to be honest i think thats just an educated guess by the docs.

I'm still feeling a bit rough but at least i'm home.

I had kidney stones a few months back! Worst thing EVER!! The pain is unbelievable! Has it come out yet?

I spent 5 days in hospital with Kidney stones when I was 24. I was throwing up so much that the blood vessels burst in both eyes. I was a mess and the pain was unbelievable. I drasticaly reduced the amount of dairy products in my diet and touch wood I have been fine in the 11 years since.

Kidney stones? Huh compared to childbirth they have a pain rating of about 2 - just grit your teeth and push Wayne!

funny you should say that, i was joking with the ambulance man (putting a brave face on and all that) and i said i thought i was in labour.

as for the special nurses uniform? wahay

but leave the big syringe in the box, i've seen enough of those to last for a while

i've had 'em 3 times and all i can say is thankgod for the morphine, the pain is like nothing i've ever had before. getting rid was just as bad - like ing glass while it's on fire, and then it just pops out and the world is alright again





might be, we blokes aren't exactly designed for foreign objects making their way down the water slide





anyway back o/t glad to hear your on the mend, just don't o/d on the cranberry juice they say to drink PLENTY of.

Give over. There's women in this town who enjoy it so much they do it, 5, 6, 7 times.

My brother has had them.... trust me the pain rating is much higher than 2 Mish Mash.

You've never had a paper cut then now thats pain

u lot must have cursed me

, in and out of warrington hospital fri/sat/sun with another one. morphine was great again but i had to wait for that as all the ambulance would give me was the gas (which i finished off).

so now for another scan. but they have given me some decent painkillers for home - in the form of tramadol, and they're good but i feel like i'm permanently stoned

and a week off work to enjoy (sort of)

my sympathy. Best of luck.
