they serve most beers that you would normally see in other pubs apart from the cask ales which are specials and it all depends what price you see reasonable. the wetherspoons is one of the cheapest pubs in leighdoes that mean that all the other pubs in leigh arnt reasonable and not worth drinking in.

a question, maybe mr chairman could answer, as leigh east seems to be used on a daily basis for training and meetings and i guess various other community events, why can't they do some cask ales, yes it takes more time and you need to know what your doing, but imo worth it, would certainly go in prior to games if served decent cask ales.

I would go to Easts if they had proper beer on too. Rather pay a bit more if its going to be casked

went to the hotel quality beer at £2.50, had several in nice surroundings much better than £3 a pint.

Leigh RUFC for me quality beer at very reasonable prices and frindly welcoming atmosphere + the best land lady in leigh and camera pub of the year for real ales

You need a landlady who brews her own ale

Leigh RUFC is a community club also she makes no profit from doing it the club get all monies taken and she gets paid a wage.

We can organise some Round Ash (our own brew) for you Mr Chairman if you would like to give a barrel a go see how it sells

Well, if Easts start to do cask ale, they will certainly get some business from our lot.

I know money is tight but I'm amazed nobody has taken a punt on running The Railway especially with it being so close to the LSV.
