| Quote ="kirkhall"There would appear to be a consistency on here, Ryan Hampshire to halfback! Well, I too have been advocating this during Drinkwater's absence! I would definitely have played him Scrum Half with Ridyard outside him.
I wonder why so many people are now calling for Hampshire to play in the halves? I'm sorry to have say this but, Ben Reynolds is not good enough to occupy the halfback position in Super League, not only does he lack pace, he lacks awareness and ability too ! I don't like to criticise unless I feel its necessary and recently, he has been really really poor! I know Riddy and Drinky are not 'even timers' however, they are both skilful and astute kickers, around the field! I often cringe too, when Reynolds passes to one of our players who is already lined to be clattered, ouch!!!
If we can get Riddy and Drinky both fit and on the pitch, in form, we will be fine there is a lot Rugby to play yet!
Riddy answered his critics last year when, faced with losing his place to the much more experienced and highly rated Travis Burns, he came back and led us into Super League! Lets be patient with Riddy and Drinky they are a class act together.
I said at the beginning of the season I was very happy with our squad and, I remain so !
Surely, Tonga, Patterson, Maria, Clare, Ridyard, Hock, Acton, Pelissier, Brown and a fit Mickey would make a difference to our team, at the moment ? Get these Guys available and, we wont need to worry about the Championship!
Lets not condem our squad totally, we all have our opinions, preferences and team selections, more importantly we need to support the Coaches and club at present.
Where I sit in the West Stand, the Booing, echoing around the ground is really embarrassing particularly after having witnessed the wonderful atmosphere generated during our performances against, Hudds , Saints and Wire!
I'm looking forward to Saturday when I'm sure, our Team will give us a win and, a performance to clap for
'"
Nice one Kirk, Corn't argue wi that.

Need a player like him, but can't comment on whether he's back to the sort of form he showed in 2014. Don't forget, he ended up playing Championship Shield last season.

Is this 'Niel' your referring to Neil Jukes by any chance? As I don't know him personally perhaps you could enlighten me on your knowledge of him then, I wont be delusional!

| Kirkhall is spot on for me.
Drinkwater and Richard are the halfbacks to lead us forward. The others that are currently out injured will be good enough to see us through the middle 8s should it come to that.
Get behind who ever is on the field for us in the next few weeks as they will be playing a lot of minutes back to back to see us through our injury crisis.

I think you will find Neil Jukes is neither a SL or Championship manager........
He is however our SL Head COACH, and a damn good coach at that.
I wouldn't normally split hairs but I'm figuring that you are maybe here to wind people up, so just wanted to help you get the terminology right for Rugby League to help you on your way.

Head Coach, First Team Coach, Nags Head Coach to Margate on The Jolly Boys outing for all I care, but whatever you want to call him he's out of his depth and has no plan A never mind a plan B.

Mr C , I'm not criticising Neil Jukes he deserves our full backing! He was responsible and made the decisions which got us into this league. There are some, who couldn't wait for an excuse to criticise him, for whatever reason, I'm not one of them!!

Cmon Keith, myself I don't know many who had criticised Jukesy or his coaching methods, but I draw a line at your words,Neil does not deserve it , he's a nice bloke with a great Family, so are my Brother - in Laws but I wouldn't make them Coaches of the Centurions.Again Jukesy is having a bit of bad luck injury wise, but that's part and parcel of RL injuries are a Lottery and we are having it rough at the moment, but we soldier on.

| The problem is that Neil and his team ( That may or may not be a clue ) weere identifying a FT squad for the final year of a 3 year plan to get out of the Championship. We did it year 2, with players already signed up for year 3 !
In May/June last year when new players where nailing their colours to our mast, they were doing so knowing that there was every possibility they would be plying their trade in the Championship for 12 months.
As were both sides.

Yes , Neil probably wanted Cooper Cronk as first choice 7.
Neil identifies and provides a list of players in each position and labels them A, B and C.
We go for A who then gets offered more money elsewhere, so we move for B, who does not want to play for Leigh as a top 8 club is making an offer simultaneously , so we need move for C who probably does not want to sign for Leigh, but has no other options but does want to remain in or play in SL bottom line, so after a little wheeling and dealing over a few weeks and us being played off, eventually signs on the dotted line. Neil's third choice for the position. ( Neil's not Derek's)
Then we look at the next position and the same process then kicks in for the remaining 12 or so positions.

Well Mr C, we are in anything other than worrying times, I've watched this mob since I was a kid in 1954 and I can assure you these are not worrying times!
I would advise our fans to embrace our position in Super League and fully enjoy it along with your friends and family.
We've waited a long time to reach this standard and, our facilities and Match day experience are equal to any and, better than most!
We have to remember that we can no longer win every game, (like in the Championship), even the best side Castleford, have lost a couple and they have not been bedevilled by injuries ,yet!!
I personally, have come to really enjoy the LSV experience and visiting Cas and Wakefield this season, has only confirmed my appreciation of the facilities we now enjoy watching our team!!
I'm sure we will come good again before this season ends, until then, enjoy the experience!!

We have injuries ( Plenty) and we will deal with it. 100% agreed with you Kirkhall, but the club is where we want it to be and that is dining at the top table.
