Dewsbury have just had 20,000 donated off the RFL because they are struggling according to their site ,apparently they wanted to stay in champ 1 but RFL ignored this

Possibly a very good reason why we have P&R ?
Dewsbury maybe felt it would benefit them dropping down a division regrouping (and perhaps winning a lot more games attracting the fans back) before coming back much stronger with better finances or a better plan of attack.
Quite possibly now they could spend another season at the bottom of the league getting beat week in week out which they may feel is more damaging in the long term.

Quite right Jenky , it's called natural selection , the strong move up and the weak move down , it is a safety valve

But surely they have to be be thoroughly audited to make sure they really are weak. Once they meet the minimum weakness criteria, then they can be considered for a franchise in Championship 1. If they manage to get a D grade or lower, then they could well get in.

But it seems that Dewsbury haven't been fully audited to see if they meet these stringent criteria, so they cannot be granted a prized place in Championship 1 and must stay in the Championship.

Good effort Dewsbury, but try again in 3 years.

I made the right call and have never looked back on that one. University in its current guise is just an excuse for kids to stay off the dole and that was on a law degree at a good university. A right royal waste of time imo

Well Im damn proud of my son whos studied at uni for 4 years to get a lauguages degree and hes now got a job that he uses that degree for translating data for finance companies from SouthAmerican countries .

It is a bit actually, it was a personal friendly pop.
I did two years and following that spent 2 years drinking 5 litres of vodka a week and snorting every banned substance going. Good times but not a way to live life. I saw the light and the £s and In the last 18 months i've been to eastern europe, australia, egypt, across italy and others so life certainly isnt about waste.

So whilst others were working hard at their degrees you were bumming around. And it is they who have wasted their time.

And now you've figured out how to make enough money to go on an aeroplane or got a job that means you have to, you realise that you didn't bum around at uni because you were a bum, but because you knew all along that they were the mugs, not you.

Still, if you can see the error of your ways once, you may be able to again.
