Maybe we've hit on something here, if we only allow male drivers in 4x4's it will reduce traffic congestion, and therefore be good for the environment.

But just to put this into context most 4x4 drivers are absolute TOOLS who have `t grasped the concept that poor weather conditions actually affect their vehicles........... Not as they the salesperson told them...They `re not a direct descendant from JC( and immortal) and can`t drive a 4x4 with a mobile in one hand and a latte in the other.... I put them in the same band as the goons who drive white vans..........amoebas.......

Well I have made it to Knutsford today (after two of my neighbours helped me last night to dig the car out so I could leave it on hope st so I had half a chance this morning).

I am amazed at the laziness/stupidness of people though, it takes all of 5 mins to clear a car of snow and yet there are some that would rather cause an accident than bother taking the time to remove it before moving off in the morning. Numbnuts!!!

Thats a fair point that and it is the first time on tv and radio this morning that I have heard a call from any of the services for people to do this to reduce the risk of anymore accidents.

There really are some round shouldered light-weights around in today's age are there not? For some its any excuse not to work. The Watcher believes that those people who shamelessly did not attend work today & used the light snowfall as a reason are the same ones who phone in sick when there is any old cold virus going around. I posted the other week about the reasons the council wern't gritting pavements. If they did and some one slipped on unmelted ice they could claim against the council as the works hadn't been carried out 100% but if the don't grit the pavements and someone injures themselves the council can claim "act of god" this is a result of the claim culture we have in this country thesedays
