With regards to Salford John Gilberts Reds, in 2 or 3 years time I'm hoping we'll be a main stay in SL and have surpassed you by then. No offence but I don't really see Salford as a step forward, Koukash will get bored eventually and then it's back to square 1.

Well just because it is in the League Express does not mean it's true and quite frankly a club like Leeds would surely have to follow the RFL rules.

Nothing wrong with having some optimism Kevster, but I can assure you Leigh will not have surpassed Salford within the next 2 or 3 years and that’s no disrespect to the excellent work your club are continuing to go through in order to achieve Super League status. With the way the current system is biased in favour of Super League teams, anyone from the Championship will have done unbelievably well to secure promotion.

I would like to think in the next 2-3 years we’ll be challenging up the top end of Super League (our team for next season looks capable of that), I hope Leigh are also mixing it in Super League at this time too. We’ll be grateful of the guaranteed 4 points.

Well we know its sam barlow, i for one really hope he stays and see out whatever contract he has with us, if leeds have approached him illeagally then they should clearly be reported to the RFL and appropriate action taken if found to of done wrong. I could see the appeal for sam, a top club, less travelling, and i presume more money, however he seems to be really enjoying his rl at present.

Ryan will not get a sniff of first team at Salford if he goes they will have 4 no 7s next season all better than Ryan very silly move if he went .As for Barlow it will be yet another club he will have played for if he goes . let's face it when Sam moves clubs he likes to make a song and dance about it...

The interview from a few weeks ago on LC TV says it all, I spoke with Kes again on Saturday and without any prompting his words were 'Im a Leigh Player and happy to be one, the interview in the Manchester Evening news was not written in it's entirety and some of the so called quotes were taken out of context'.

So there you go straight from the 'horses mouth' no rumour or conjecture straight talking from Ryan Brierley.

If his head had been 'turned' then why was he the last player to leave the playing area AGAIN last Sunday, as for 'being out of sorts' he is playing a different game the last couple of matches and in doing so has become more of a try assister/maker than a try scorer, which after all at pivot is his main job, (again not my words but from a very respected Coach).

As has been said Leigh are a Buying Club , NOT a selling one , personally I don't think Marwan will want Ryan now he has signed Dobson , as for Leigh , I think we will need around 4 Quality signings next season to rise to the next level of play , but it will also mean Goodbye to around 8 players to compensate for the new signings .
