The first time I really noticed it was when we beat Salford in the CC at HP. There was only about 15 singing it then.

I think the "Lobby on draught" one bouncing between the North and West stands would be great. When I used to go to United some 40 years ago. The Scoreboard and Stretford ends used to do a "Celtic, Rangers" type of chant. Where one used to shout for Celtic and the others Rangers.

Very true Glow , ive always like the Z Cars theme at Everton , and Blue Moon at City ,but I always loved Leighs old entrance tune .Maybe because I love the Circus .

After today I feel that Hi Ho Silver Lining is already becoming an anthem for Leigh. Heard it pre-match when the radio came on and it gave me goosebumps hearing the Leythers in full voice.

For all the talk of the Fev support, the Leythers were much louder on the radio. Well done to everyone who contributed.

I think we've gone a log way towards making Hi Ho Silver Lining an anthem for Leigh. The most important thing is that you think of Leigh first whenever you hear that song, and think of our glorious times. To that end I've been playing Hi Ho Silver Lining shortly before kick-off and after every win since I took the music duties. I think the consistency is starting to work.

You are right Reffy , I spoke to a Scouser this morning and he said the same , also Johnny Todd was a Pub in Kirkby , and Z cars was apparently based on Kirkby .
